Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

Sloan has been one of the best experiences professionally and personally for me. The community is intellectually curious and welcomes new ways of thinking. Sloan is also a great place for women looking to experience a full-time MBA program. The academic experience balances challenging curriculum with a supportive environment.

This is a one year program. Two years with funding possibility may be more ideal.

PROS - Competitive program, but with a lot of collaboration and support, rather than 'unhealthy competition' - World-class faculty - Great research output - Extremely highly ranked program in the field - Diverse courses/seminars CONS - School library is a little limited (often have to request interlibrary loans) - Workload is quite high (though usually not stressful)

My fellow students are the brightest people I have ever met. On top of that, everybody is willing to help one another with studying and homework. This is truly valuable.

Great university name to put on a resume, but you have to be very committed.

Degree: Civil Engineering
Graduation Year: 2015

A few too many required classes for a masters degree, but at least they can guarantee the material we've learned. It's hard to compete with the network or the respect given to the brand name of MIT.
