"Overall Mercer is a great school. The faculty are very supportive and try to help you succeed. I would have preferred to have better surrounding near the school but hey its in the city."

"At Mercer, the faculty really care about their students. I feel like I can talk to any of my professors. Also, my classmates are all different ages and backgrounds so I get to see things from all points of view. I love going to school. On the con side, I do wish financial aid could provide me with more funding, but it is better than nothing. However, the tution is a bargain compared to other private universities in Georgia. All in all, Mercer is has become my second home and I encourage people looking to pursue higher education to apply."

"I can honestly say that my experience at Mercer University has not only enriched my professional life but also my personal life. At Mercer, the emphasis is on building scholars who are confident enough to question society's pattern yet humble enough to recognize when personal change is necessary."

"Have not experienced cons yet. So far the staff at Mercer make you feel like your opinions and concerns matter. You don't feel like a number."

"The grad programs are catered to the working adult and the program is sufficiently rigorous. The faculty is very competent and possesses a lot of field experience from their everyday involvement. The student body as a whole and the program contains a lot if of diversity. The cons include the tuition and traffic. Mercer is a private university so it is very expensive. While commuting to the campus I’m often faced with tremendous traffic."

"I am a new enrollee so I will say, as a disclaimer, that my experience with Mercer University-Atlanta Campus is limited. However, I recognize that there is a great emphasis on course rigor and professional, development. I enjoy the accessibility to Faculty and Staff and the eager responsiveness. Financial aid is provide through federal loans, and outside scholarships are accepted. However, the program currently does not provide internal scholarships for graduate student (with the exception of a partial scholarship for study). On- campus apartment is beautiful, but is also a little pricey. The city's primary bus service, MARTA, runs infrequently in front of the campus , however, there is almost never an issue with parking. Overall, the good definitely outweighs the drawbacks and there are many opportunities for career and social development through the many student organizations on campus."

"Mercer's Clinical Mental Health program has allowed me to continue to work while receiving my education. The staff has opened my eyes to many valuable tools that are waiting inside of me and I cannot wait to use them once in the field."

"The vital part of Mercer University's Pharmacy program is the academic competitiveness. Mercer is highly regarded nationally as one of the top pharmacy schools .The program is very tough, thorough and challenging which helps prepare the students for their career in pharmacy. The deficiency of this program is the high tuition cost with very little scholarship or financial aid to assist the students. I am constantly worried about the tremendous amount of loans with accumulating interest that I will have to pay back once I graduate."

"The pharmacy graduate program at Mercer are the quality of education and values that you will receive. The first time I stepped onto Mercer's campus, I immediately felt at home and surrounded by family. The staff is incredibly helpful and supportive and the school websites are very detailed and full of information. This grad program may be that Mercer is a private college, therefore the cost of tuition and expenses are higher than some of the competing schools. However, based on the quality of education I have discovered that Mercer is ranked as one of the top schools for pharmaceutics in the nation."

"I love that my program is so experiential and convenient. I'm learning more because I'm not just being fed information from a book, but practicing and having meaningful discussions that force me to grow as a person. Even though the campus on which my program is available is an hour away, each class meets for a longer period of time one per week. That makes the program convenient for me, given that I work full-time."

"I really do love my program. It is a great two year program for those who want to pursue research as their career. Since it is a new program, we are the firsts so there still are kinks to resolve."
