"Michigan State is an eclectic college town. East Lansing has its good and bad spots like most campuses. There is a heavy focus on athletics, so if you're not into sports make sure you're comfortable being uncomfortable when people try to talk about them to you. Much like other Colleges, classes depend on your Major and the Professor. Use office hours!"

"Michigan State University is an exceptional university. First and foremost, the campus itself is absolutely beautiful. From the Red Cedar River, to the river-trail, to the farm land, MSU covers a lot of ground. MSU also provides students will an exceeding level of diversity in its students, programs, and faculty. You will have the chance to work beside world-renowned professors and researchers all while experiencing the essence of East Lansing, MI."

"The MSU Executive MBA is a part time weekend MBA program for professionals that want an experience that's more than an online degree. The collaborate cohort curriculum facilitates networking for professionals of all disciplines and includes an optional study abroad residency. I highly recommend this program to highly driven professionals."

"Michigan State University was more than I could have ever imagined it to be. It provided me with lifelong friendships and memories that bring tears to my eyes when I think about how spectacular my time spend at MSU was. I wouldn't change it for the world. Not only is the degree you receive worth it, but the memories. MSU has shaped me and taught me things that no other experience could have. It taught me to be strong through hard times and that there is something for everyone, you just have to be willing to find it. There are so many opportunities for on campus employment, my job landed somewhere I never thought it would have. That is campus recreation. I worked as a intramural official as a female which made me a minority something I never had experienced before. I flourished in this position was promoted to supervisor and later made my career out of it. All because I went online to apply for a job that would fill up some time. It's funny how things happen like that, but I would have never been able to do it without being a student at Michigan State University."

"Michigan State University was an amazing experience. As a traditional agricultural school, science based programs here are of the highest quality. As an individual who is pursuing a career in healthcare, I was extremely pleased with the opportunities I was provided at Michigan State University."

"Michigan State University (MSU) could not have provided me with a better undergraduate experience. MSU has a sense of unity unlike any other. Between the difficult academics, endless networking opportunities and powerful school spirit, MSU taught me how to be both a prosperous and intelligent woman in our modern world. The key component to providing a challenging academic program are the professors. Specifically, the kinesiology and human biology professors at MSU. Not only did they provide me with information from my specific field, but they also provided guidance on how to use this information and apply it to our careers. For example, my exercise physiology professor taught us how to apply our knowledge of the musculoskeletal system to creating new exercise programs for unique individuals. Instead of using a lecture-based classroom, he used a hands-on method to inspire our creative selves. MSU professors also inspired group discussion and group projects. Although some may dread working with others, it is essential to learn how to work as a team for any future career. Learning how to understand and appreciate others opinions is what facilitates new ideas and future developments. Not only did MSU offer rewarding academics, but also opportunities to network and meet new people in the area. MSUs location was in the heart of East Lansing and less than five miles away from Lansing, Michigans capital city. The location of the campus itself provided opportunities to experience the real world outside of college. MSU also offered opportunities to network, including academic and career-affiliated clubs, career fairs, and career counseling. I took advantage of all three of these opportunities which aided me in my quest for a starting job after graduation. Without joining the pre-physician assistant club, I would not have found my current job as a medical assistant to gain the healthcare experience I need. When choosing a university, a student wants to feel at home. In other words, the school culture needs to be a good fit for the individual. Between the endless sports chants to the friendliness of streetwalkers, there is no such thing as not fitting in at MSU. I am proud to be a graduate from Michigan State University and I would highly recommend any individual to choose this school to pursue their dreams."

"Michigan State University was a great school to attend. I was in Lyman Briggs residential college and graduated with a Physiology degree. I feel like both of these two things prepared me for a future as an NP. I have fond memories of MSU and greatly appreciate my education."

"I love my school life, it was great and I made many friends. Some of the classes weren't as enjoyable. I had my moments when I cried and wanted to run away, but if I learned anything it is that giving up is not the spartan way and backing down shouldn't be on the list of options."

"Michigan State University is one of the best colleges in the country to attend if you would like to pursue a career in Education. There is an ample amount of material, and the what makes MSU great is they have a one year internship. The only downfall is that it is unpaid. However, I don't think I would have gotten as good of an education as MSU. Besides the program, MSU overall is an amazing place. The campus is beautiful, there are plenty of activities and events to attend, and I was able to balance work, school and fun. MSU was the best 4 years of my life. I wouldn't have traded to go anywhere else."

"Michigan State was the best decision I have ever made! I received a top of the line education, as well as a top of the line Spartan family. My education prepared me for my career as a Physician Assistant, as I have been accepted Wayne State University's PA program and will be starting this May. I received several offers from other schools because they have been so impressed with Michigan State students in the past. MSU is an outstanding school and I could not be more happy that I earned my B.S from there!"

"It was a good place to go to get a degree. Most of the students go straight from the BA program so it was tough to fit in as most of the class knew each other from previous years."

"Program geared to those who are interested in obtaining PHD. The instructors were supportive and incredibly knowledgeable. There were ample opportunities to gain real life experiences by working on actual forensic casework. The courses were incredibly challenging but after all the hard work, you had a sense of worth and achievement."

"MSU will forever feel like home. In my four years there I studied Philosophy. Most look at this degree as a laughing stock but my first two years in working the nonprofit it has served me well. The program taught me to problem solve and think outside the box along with great writing skills and argumentation. I would recommend Michigan State to anyone seeking a big university experience."

"Michigan St. University was a great institution to attend because of it's diversity. Michigan St is one of the top colleges for having international students.I was able to have a study partner from Senegal, who came to Michigan St. so that he could learn more about agriculture and take this information back to his country so that he could make a difference. I loved attending Michigan St. because I was bale to participate in many things such as: athletics, student government, performing community service, talent shows, and many other opportunities. I would highly recommend Michigan St. to any student that wants a great education and to meet people from all over the world."

"Once a Spartan always a Spartan. Michigan State university is not just a school but a family built on continued success. That success is fostered not only in their heritage but more importantly in the classroom. The education I received from Michigan State professors was tremendous. They want to see all their students succeed and they present many opportunities for you to be successful. Nothing is given so hard work is required."
