"Midwestern University Glendale is a terrific program for Physical Therapy students. The professors are caring, compassionate, brilliant, and involved. The campus is over the top up to date. The classrooms and equipment are technologically up to date. It is a very well-rounded program and very admired by the profession. It is definitely one of the best."

"Midwestern University has incredible programs. The school is truly designed with the students in mind. Though the tuition is above average, it is easy to see that the funds are invested in the students and their education. I have never felt belittle as a student, but rather uplifted and encouraged. My fellow classmates are always eager to assist in any capacity. The environment fosters learning and positive social interaction. I can't see myself having a better experience at any other health professional university."

"This college treats its students like garbage. There is no curves and they expect you to memorize the entire textbook for exams. They push extended track way to often and that is to get more money from their students! The professors do not teach well. There are too many pointless, yet required course to take. This is not a good program at all. If you have the option, go somewhere else. They advertise very well about the resources they provide their students, but they do not provide anything. Not only do you pay 60 K for a semester, you pay to teach yourself with no help or guidance from any facility. Disappointed with the staff and the program."

"I love Midwestern University. The professors, faculty, etc are all there to motivate and encourage students. They believe in all their students and are so helpful. I would recommend this program to others in a heartbeat. It may be pricey, but you get what you pay for."

"Midwestern is a great campus because you are engrossed with students of health professions. I enjoyed taking classes with other programs and having faculty that teach to other programs teach to mine. Many of the students are accepted into Medical and Dental school who finish their degree in the two year masters degree. I loved having exposure to both didactic and research. I had a great mentor for my research. It has helped me become more confident and will be a better practitioner. I will be attending Physician Assistant school after graduating which has always been my end goal. The school has many clubs and events too. The area is okay because most the restaurants and such are chains but if you go outside Glendale you can find some good eats!"

"Pros: Faculty members are always willing and wanting to help. Challenge you for a reason (better prepared upon leaving school) Cons: Expensive. Glendale area doesn't have a lot to do, so you may have to travel a little bit to find something."

"I am currently a first year student pursing a doctorate of veterinary medicine. I am a part of our charter class that is quickly developing our program to make it better for future years. The pros of our program are that we are a completely brand new school on an all-medical graduate-only campus. Being brand new, our school has spared no expense to provide us with the best technology and tools to permit the best learning experience possible. Also being brand new, our school's curriculum is completely fresh and new. Our school is not fighting to keep our accreditation, instead we are proving exactly why we deserve it and have a curriculum that the AVMA fully stands behind, per our provisional accreditation. Our professors are also dedicated to our education by having a constant open-door policy to permit students to have questions answered when they need help. Not to mention that being in Arizona, we don't have to worry about that thing the rest of the country calls winter! The pros of our school are also the fact that we are brand new. Our schools is doing everything in our power to jump into the running pack and prove that we have what it takes. We don't have the ability to call ourselves a top-ranked school because we are still working on getting there, but I'm sure that one day we will. Being a part of the charter class also requires being a leader of sorts. We don't have upperclassmen to assist us or to let us know what to expect. We are pioneering through a curriculum that is having its edges smoothed out, but we are there to make it the best we can. As long as you aren't afraid of taking your own path and making it better along the way, this school is a great opportunity for not only veterinary students, but for our other medical programs as well!"

"This school is very competitive with good education, but the cost is far too extravagant for the area you are living in."

"Midwestern is a great program. The faculty are open and approachable and the quality of education is good. It is an accelerated program, so the timing through the program is also good. The surrounding area is a bit outside of the city, which makes having transportation extremely important. Also, since the program is accelerated and is at a private university, the curriculum and class schedules are set, so there is very limited flexibility in terms of having a job or choosing scheduling for classes. Overall though, the program is good."

"The school is a private school. The schools is not willing to change to student's interests or concerns. It provides the degree, but don't expect it to help you as a the student to really succeed. They don't even let students see their own physical copy of the exam to look over after the test"

"I have looked forward to joining Midwestern's PA program for 2 years since I found out about it. It is in a beautiful location of Phoenix and is very safe. The professors are very accessible and their cadaver lab is 'to die for". They also have a state of the art simulation lab which I can't wait to use. Absolutely love it."

"The pharmacy program at Midwestern is 3 years accelerated. A pro would be that you are able to get into the workforce a year earlier than normal. A con would be that the program is year round so you don't get summers off."

"Midwestern has a brand new Veterinary Medicine program. I am ecstatic to be in the first graduating class for this program. The program just built a brand new teaching animal hospital on campus and also has many great resources available for the veterinary students already! One thing I really love about Midwestern is the support and involvement of our professors. Midwestern supports the One Health initiative, I am happy to be at a school that is incorporating that important public health motto into their programs."

"The program is intellectually stimulating and the faculty are knowledgeable and willing to help. The classes are engaging and I'm learning a lot. The cost is a bit high and the funding provided by the university is a bit low so there's a large gap in financial aid."

"Faculty is easy to access and very supportive! They are hard on us for a reason-they want us to succeed. Our class size is small enough that we are able to interact with each other on a daily basis and really get to know each other. Con would be Glendale itself--but downtown Phoenix, and even better (Sedona, Flagstaff!) are just a short way away! Easy to have a nice weekend getaway."

"The individual attention allotted towards the students is wonderful. My professors are quick to answer emails and genuinely seem to care about the students. My one complaint is that the cost of tuition is extremely high - so high that Stafford loans are not enough to cover costs, and additional direct loans are needed to pay for this. Sometimes I worry about how I will make tuition payments, since my tuition debt will be so high."
