Student & Graduate Reviews

4.2 out of 5.0
Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

Minnesota State University Moorhead shaped my career for life. Though in a less popular location, the curriculum offered me all I needed to succeed academically. The tuition is very affordable and most of the professors are hands on. It lacks diversity. I was mostly one of two people of color in 98% of my classes. That aside, the classes were great in that the professors were very thorough and were willing to help students succeeed academically. I would definitely recommend MSUM as a good so for undergraduate education. The location of the school allows for students to be able to concentrate as there are less distractions. There are two graduation ceremonies, this allows students who complete their degree requirement during the fall to attend a graduation ceremony in December. Overall I would give the school 3 out of 5.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2020

Minnesota State University Moorhead's on -line Masters in Nursing Leadership program is geared towards working adults who desire advancing their degree while working full time. I currently work full time in a nursing leadership position and am able to keep up with the demands of the program. The content of the classes directly correlates with the work I am doing in my leadership role. The class format allows me to discuss issues that are happening in my real work with those from around the state or surrounding state to develop solutions. I am also able to use projects from work and apply them to my class work or projects. I would recommend this program to other RNs looking to advance their education and career.

Online and gives professional teachers the ability to go to school and work, its affordable enough and the program is great because it is doable in 2 years.

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2014

I left many areas blank as I'm a nontraditional student. I really enjoyed all of the online courses I have taken thus far - the professors are helpful and the class I am taking now is very fascinating and relevant to my profession. Except for the first faculty advisor I was assigned to, the staff and professors have been amazing in getting students the help they need and being personable despite the fact that we are all online students and most of us have never met.
