I can only rate my impressions as I am just starting this fall. My experience so far has been nothing but positive. The facilities and staff I have seen and met have been great. I am so thankful to be able to continue my education at a Christian college, and the campus is beautiful. The registration process has been easy even though as a graduate student I don't qualify for any financial assistance from the school. There does seem to be a scarcity of apartments close to MC and the rents seem high for the area. I am struggling to finalize the reservation of an apartment and there is no assistance from Mississippi College in finding housing. I hope I have a place to stay when classes begin in August.

My overall experience at Mississippi College was very positive. I found the program challenging, and I will be a stronger professional because of it.

The graduate program in Counseling at Mississippi College is truly excellent. Most of the professors are very helpful and involved with their students. If I had to list a negative, I would say that there is not enough organization in helping out of state Grad students with on campus jobs.

Mississippi College has proved me with an excellent education. All coursework taken prepared me for my profession. I must say the faculty and staff of Mississippi College are all concerned about the success of their students. I would recommend Mississippi College to any student that enjoys a small setting, but wants an excellent education.

Graduation Year: 2014

The medical science program at Mississippi College is a great program for all aspiring physicians and dentist. Coming out of undergraduate, I was in no way socially and academically ready to begin medical school. After a year in the program at Mississippi College I feel I have learned more than I have at any point in my life. My focus and study strategies have increased to a level I never before thought possible. While my social life may now be non-existent, I still have time to visit other friends who live nearby and fun places (Oxford, New Orleans, Memphis) aren't too far of a drive. I've enjoyed my time at MC and would recommend it to anyone looking for that extra boost to get them in to med school.

Registration was extremely frustrating. No one could tell me when I was supposed to register. The only way I found out about my financial aid was solely goofing around the website online. The instructors are so much more forthcoming than the admissions and financial aid people. Don't let them bog you down. Great school! Great people....world of opportunity.

The program is very challenging. It requires the student to be inquisitive and proactive. This is something many incoming students struggle with. It adequately prepares you for the challenges of professional medical studies.
