Student & Graduate Reviews

4.2 out of 5.0
Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2014

I enjoyed the small school atmosphere and the tuition was comparatively cheap.
3.5 out of 5.0
Degree: Communications (Technical)
Graduation Year: 2018

Overall, Montana Tech is a great institution. I received my Associate's and Bachelor's degree there and recently returned to graduate school to work on a Master's. The faculty and staff are generally helpful, and most would go the extra mile for you.
3.75 out of 5.0
Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2017

The graduate programs at Montana Tech greatly enhance the students ability to manage projects and complete tasks assigned. The opportunity to assist in teaching and supervisory roles is outstanding. The graduate programs really embrace responsibility as an individual and also amongst colleagues to provide the student with a great sense of pride and fulfillment while completing assignments.
3.25 out of 5.0
Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2016

Having the entire program on line allowed me to continue to work full time. The program made many attempts to also provide opportunities on campus and encouraged networking amongst students.
4.83 out of 5.0
Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2015

Pro-The Mining Engineering program is one of the best in the US. The school, faculty members and students are awesome. It is a good environment for healthy and successful study. Con- Butte is a small city and the weather is very hard specially for someone not used to the cold. No big stores except Walmart. No African store in the area.
4.08 out of 5.0
Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2016

The graduate program at Montana Tech offers the student a great atmosphere to expand their academic and real-world knowledge. This is done with great faculty and availability of top notch equipment. The detraction of the University is class availability, it would be nice to have more course offerings.
