Degree: Engineering Management
Graduation Year: 2018

I have taken five master's level courses at NU in the Engineering Management program. The program I was originally accepted into was discontinued due to low-enrollment, then the new program that was supposed to be offered entirely online was changed to a hybrid format. Only 2 of my classes actually taught me anything. The program is not designed to teach; it is designed to get you through as fast as possible and give you the piece of paper you are looking for. If you want a real education, NU is not for you. Another problem I had was that in the course of five months with NU, I had FOUR different advisors. They were always difficult to get ahold of, and whenever we finally did talk I felt like they were trying to hurry and get me off of the phone. Also, make sure before selecting your university to check accreditation. I was on the project manager track with my program, and it's not accredited by GAC. Please do your research!!

The once a month classes were very tough but it allowed me to finish my degree program quickly. The professors were very insightful and took a personal interest in my success. I highly recommend this university!

It's a good school that you will learn since the minimum GPA requirement to graduate is a 3.0. If you do not have the GPA then you will need to retake your classes that you received a low grade.

Right before you step into the real world. It's not easy but not that hard either.

Be prepared for a very compressed schedule. 1 class every 30 days.

Classes were offered in an accelerated format that allowed me to complete my degree quickly. The online format was manageable with my full time job and other commitments. The coursework was rigorous, but I learned so much from my instructors and classmates!

Degree: Forensic Accounting
Graduation Year: 2017

Great program for full-time working people. The classes were challenging and the instructors were helpful. I really like the online classes because they use a live approach. You have the opportunity to ask your instructor questions and see them through webcam instead of a recorded lecture.

Degree: Forensic Science
Graduation Year: 2017

This is a great program for working people. I completed it online but had access to the school library and other resources. The classes are short (most 4 weeks, the last few were 8 weeks), which I liked but could be hard to get everything done. I really like that hey have live lectures so you can talk to your instructor and ask questions in real time.
