The Masters of Science in Adult & Continuing Education program at NC A&T is excellent! I entered the program after teaching adult English as a Second Language classes for several years at a local community college. This program offers rigorous courses and dynamic instructors who challenge students to become compassionate leaders for adult learners while embodying lifelong learning. The course schedule includes relevant topics and objectives that prompt stimulating discussions and action plans for a technologically advancing and aging society. You will be prepared to work in a variety of areas serving adults including community-based organizations, senior citizen centers, healthcare facilities, faith-based organizations, community colleges, and universities, to name a few. This is a full-time worker friendly program with instructors who have spent their lives researching, developing, and applying adult education philosophies and andragogical theories in multicultural settings. This program is nestled in the Piedmont of North Carolina on a beautiful campus in Greensboro, a short drive away from the ocean or mountains. Check it out!
