So far my experience in the graduate program at New England College has been a very positive one I elected to take the on-line courses because of the versatility with my schedule which allows me to access my course work anywhere at any time while continuing to work. The professors and classmates have been very helpful and I would highly recommend this program.

NEC offers high quality education with knowledgeable and responsive professors that is relevant for students that will be competing in today's job market. Courses are tough, yet engaging and professors require a lot, offer the tools for accomplishments, and believe their students can achieve brilliantly. I am more than satisfied with the opportunity!

Degree: Creative Writing
Graduation Year: 2016

Incredible faculty, great library staff. Very supportive mentors who are easily accessed. New and creative directors working on making the low residency experience a great one. The campus is beautiful and quiet. There does not seem to be much diversity among students enrolled in the MFA program other than with age. Most students are Caucasian. Campus is not that accessible for those with disabilities. The dorm rooms are not well equipped for the climate, ie:warm blankets or working fans.

Pros: online masters degree so I can work at my own pace and still be able to successfully have a full time job. Professors are very attentive. Cons: online so you don't have one on one interactions with other students or professors.

Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2017

The pros of the graduate program include, the five years of schooling. The programs does a 3/2 which states that a student does 3 years at New England College, and after you transfer to Nichols College and do an additional two years. The program has good professor's that are willing to help their students. The cons of the program is that their is not as many design/hands on building classes.

New England College provides the perfect combination of convenience, affordability and academic challenge for the life-long learner. The Master of Arts Public Policy online program is a life-long dream come true. The specific nature of the program subject enhances my career and personal experiences, which after graduation will allow me to further advance personal and career goals of helping others and my community. I cannot imagine any cons, as New England College offers me what I want in a way that is perfect for where I am, currently, in my life and where I would like to be in the future, therefore it is up to me to take advantage of all they offer.

Pros Classes are online but professors and school staff answer questions within 24-hour period; some professors even give their phone numbers. The coursework is challenging and fast-paced; there is much to learn in 7 weeks. The student services group is great at keeping the student body informed via email.
