I think it's a great school. No school is perfect, what I've learned at NYFA is more than acting, it's reality itself.

It is great, I am very happy. The only thing I need is money to keep on paying the program. With my career, I will start a Psychiatric and Psychologic Foundation that will give free support to people that have low or zero income. I've wanted to be an actress since I was 4 and help others with my skills.

The teachers are working professionals and therefore, we learn a lot from the class and from their practical experience. The courses are designed to give an overall view and better understanding of what your job as a producer, director, or anyone else on the set entails.
This is a great school to be a part of.

I believe the pros are that the MFA Producing Program really prepares you to become an independent producer in the industry. I have learned a lot and they provide opportunities to help me jumpstart my career towards becoming an independent producer. Cons are that scheduling is a hassle and they have some kinks to work out in the program to make it run more efficiently.

We have very long days (usually 7 to 10 hours) and have to learn scripts and read plays after that but if you're passionate about acting it's definitely worth it. We also can't be late... after 7 minutes you're not allowed to come in the classroom and have to wait until break. But all of that is a very preparation for the real life of a working actor. Most of the teachers are also very passionate about acting and know what they are taking about even though there are a few exceptions. The school is pretty expensive and it's hard to find financial aid but it's worth it in my opinion.

The biggest pros are that there is a lot of experience work, which is very good in my career goals. The cons are that not that much high professional teachers.

New York Film Academy is a really professional school for student to study films. It provides professional equipment and great instructors to help students. The only cons I would says that I wish we could have more intern and work information.
