Degree: Neuropsychology
Graduation Year: 2015

The General Psychology M.A. program at NYU is one of, if not THE best in the country for it's foci. The program includes some of the most well-known professors in the world, and these professors are available to provide insight and guidance for student's success and growth in the field. Unfortunately, NYU is located in one of the most expensive cities in the world, and as a private institution, it requires a hefty tuition fee be paid. This makes it a little difficult to focus entirely on attaining one's graduate degree, however it will surely be worth it in the end!

The program is one of a kind and very hard to compare to others. You get to work with many different faculty and visiting artists. Be sure to plan ahead because the 1yr MA program goes by very quickly.

Degree: Performing Arts
Graduation Year: 2008

I really enjoyed attending NYU for my Graduate work. It was amazing to live in Manhattan. It was an amazing atmosphere in which to learn about theatre. However, the program was still coming into it's own. It's very expensive. And there were some things that I expected of a Masters program that simply were missing. But I don't regret it for a second. It was great. Very flexible people to work with and create my class schedule.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2013

The most valuable part of my graduate education has been the school's connections to outside agencies and resources. They are well-established in the social-work world and have high-quality internships. The professors are top-of-the-line (I often find myself reading for class and recognizing the name of the author as one of our professors). The biggest drawback has been the lack of academic rigor. While I do feel I am learning through my experiences and discussions, I find the workload to be too easy and I feel I'd be absorbing a lot more if I had to work a little harder for it

An excellent and reputable program. Last year's graduating cohort all secured jobs by start of school year. Extremely supportive faculty and network. Great opportunities available as a student and following completion of program. Diverse community with lots to do socially, as well.

It is a very diverse program with a lot of very caring and supportive individuals. However, it is not very academically challenging.
