Great education but price tag is also quite high. Location is ideal but also very expensive

I think the program, Performance Studies, is the best in the world, and I will be able to learn what I hope. In addition, the surroundings which the school has is good for students in art field to get inspired. Moreover, there are diversity students from all over the world, which means I can broaden my eyes with social activities in New York University. However, the tuition is a little expensive with the living cost. As an international student, there are some limitation to get scholarships and part-time jobs. Although I can have many opportunities in pursuing my goal in New York University, but there is a disadvantage in that international students should expense cost a lot.

It's New York City; this is both a pro and a con. The expense of living is outrageous, but Manhattan is the magazine capital of the world.

I am confident that obtaining a MPA at Wagner will provide me with a grounding in nonprofit management and policy that will be crucial to my ability to strengthen my leadership, management and advocacy. At Wagner, I will have a unique opportunity to learn from practitioners who are leading scholars in a variety of disciplines while exploring innovative strategies, best practices, and bold new concepts in the public service arena. Its course schedules are flexible and will accommodate my busy professional and personal schedules, providing me with the opportunity to continue working while simultaneously realizing my academic aspirations. At the same time, the increase cost in regards to tuition related expenses had made it so difficult that I had to defer enrollment to enable me opportunity to explore alternative funding opportunity.

The Master's of Social Work program at NYU provides its students with lots of real-world experience. It has given me the opportunity to begin to develop into the professional social worker I hope to become. The field placement component gives the students the responsibility to take on the tasks of real-world employment while still offering the support of professors and on-campus advisors. There are very few cons to the program aside from the cost of living in New York and the price of the education.

It's really what you make of it. There are opportunities for everything here (except to go to a school football game). You can either be at a party school and waste time in bars all over the city (cause they're everywhere), or you can be really strategic and bookworm-ish, make lots of great connections, and learn lots of really cool things.

NYU is a great medical school where you can really focus on tailoring your education to your own personal needs and future career. The early pass/fail curriculum allows students to get involved outside the classroom. There is very early hands-on patient contact that makes you comfortable as soon as you hit the wards. The C21 curriculum allows flexibility for the student to have experiences that most curriculums would not. From extra electives to 6 months of research, your opportunities for fourth year are endless. I highly recommend this medical school.
