Degree: Communications
Graduation Year: 2014

This program is a newer one with younger faculty. The advantage is that they are very invested in their graduate students to make them successful. The downside is that they are little less known in their fields, but are on the cutting edge of interesting new work.

Degree: Visual Communications
Graduation Year: 2014

I believe I took a completely different step from my undergraduate to graduate career. NC State has helped round me out as an artist, really focusing on Design oriented techniques (much different from a Fine Arts background from Savannah College of Art and Design, but not too far off from the animation and multi-media education I received there). The biggest set back in the program I believe is organization of the curriculum and funding for the Design department. Overall, I think it's an excellent program that would benefit with a boost financially.

Degree: Public Administration
Graduation Year: 2015

MPA program staff do a good job of matching your plan of study to your interests and responding to requests for certain courses. Also, NCSU provides lot of opportunities to meet alumni working in your field so you can start networking asap.

Degree: Industrial Engineering
Graduation Year: 2015

My graduate program is very close to actual industry related activities and involves practical applications on theories learnt in class in the real world. On the down side , less financial aid is available to international students making it difficult to manage the college expenses.

Degree: Veterinary Science
Graduation Year: 2017

One of the highest rated veterinary programs in the world! The curriculum is being changed though so we are going through the kinks of a transition process. But all the professors are AWESOME!

Degree: Veterinary Science
Graduation Year: 2016

Incredible education for the price! I'm saving thousands of dollars by going here rather than my in-state vet school. One year of out of state tuition and every other year as an in state student saves me about $80,000 total (not including interest) rather than going to my home state school!! I love this school, the location halfway between the beach and mountains, the incredible weather and the people here. I will probably settle in NC.

Degree: Veterinary Science
Graduation Year: 2016

The vet school is rank 3rd in the nation with state of art facilities. We participate in surgeries during our second years, where most vet schools start surgery during their third year. The facility is really invested in our success! Scholarships are limited but the percentage available to students increases from first year to second year.
