Overall the program is great! It is easy to adjust to one's schedule and the work load, although significant, is to be expected but VERY manageable.

100% Doctoral faculty is a positive thing; however, the University was self-paced when I first started and has now become faculty directed which is not suitable for working adults.

The pro are that the program is offered online. The con is that many individuals may see the program as less prestigious than traditional, on campus programs.

I feel the pros of this university is the accessibility of the program. It lets you get an education while being a parent, wife, and a employee. The cons are you must be willing to put in the work. The courses are in advanced mode and you will be moving fairly quickly.

Northcentral is an online school, so many of these areas are not applicable. During my program, the school has made many changes to improve school technology; however, some faculty members were unable to manage the transition smoothly. Being apart of an distant-learning program that requires clinical hours was difficult as many local agencies have alliances with local schools internships. It would be nice for NCU to establish alliances in the larger metro areas for students. Amongst many Pros, is the fact that the program is COAMFTE accredited which is fantastic. NCU is constantly seeking to improve the quality of education they provide and that is a great benefit for all students.

There needs to me more proofreading of the modules. Some simple spelling and grammar errors detract heavily. Variety within the courses needs to be looked at, increased.
