Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2017

I cannot say enough good things about Northeastern State University! The class sizes are small enough for the professors to know you by name and are there to help you succeed. Every professor that I have had at Northeastern State University has pushed me to be the best student I can be and formed me to become a candidate for a graduate assistant position for the Criminal Justice Masters Program. I am now half way through my first semester in the masters program and I still have nothing but good things to say!

NSU was a great school to obtain a Master's Degree in Nursing. I had a positive experience and would encourage others to complete the program.

Degree: Library Technology
Graduation Year: 2019

I found NSU to be a more helpful college all around compared to the university I attended for my Bachelors. I was always able to find someone to help me, no matter the issue. The school itself did not offer a lot of scholarship opportunities for me however.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

NSU has brought me amazing opportunities through the past three years. When I first transferred to NSU I was nervous to get involved on campus but the family environment that NSU provides its students gave me the courage to do so. Since transferring, I have joined a sorority, became a SOAR leader, I was a Rookie bridge Camp volunteer, and I won homecoming queen in the fall of 2016. I cannot say enough amazing things about this University.

I really like NSU. It is a small University and it is more affordable than any other colleges in the area. MY instructor is good, and I feel like this institution cares about it"s students. In addition the grad program I am in is good and I believe it will op[en doors for me.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2016

NSU's online Masters of Science in Nursing - Education, is worth every penny. The instructors are amazing, and always willing to contact students and be helpful facilitators of knowledge. The workload is perfectly balanced; not too little, not too much. The program is online, so I cannot comment on social life, transportation, etc.; which is why I gave those areas 5/10 stars. Great school and program!

Degree: English
Graduation Year: 2016

I am on the BA campus primarily, which is set a little ways away from town. I personally enjoy this environment, but know of quite a few others who enjoy being closer to a city and other amenities. The workload is quite more than expected, but not unmanageable. The professors are wonderful, they appreciate the students' efforts and assist in any way they can. There are not many activities on this campus, but Tahlequah, the main campus, sends emails daily of a multitude of social meetings and events.
