Degree: Electrical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2018

The opportunities for research here are amazing. Students can jump right into a project without having to wait for the "proper amount of classes" and there is a lot of flexibility in the program. I was able to design my own project and start on research 3 days after obtaining my Bachelor's degree at another school. Advisors and teachers are approachable and helpful, and although classes take time and effort, so far I have not found a class with an unreasonable workload or exceedingly difficult exams. Doing research and full-time classes can be stressful, but it is most definitely worth it. I would recommend Northeastern to anyone who is serious about a good, well-rounded education, especially in Engineering.

Degree: Electrical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2015

The program is well-established and diverse. Recent changes in both the college of engineering and the electrical and computer engineering department will continue to add to the growth at Northeastern. Location in the city for exploring and to nearby hospitals, research centers, and industry is unmatched.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2015

The program provided a great foundation in Higher Education Administration, including case study and assignments that were applicable to our current work in Higher Education. The hybrid program was great for connecting with professionals across the world in higher education. The relatively newness of the program, in addition to an administration wanting to bring in more revenue for NEU overall caused some issues in terms of class size, faculty workload, and overall faculty-student relations. However, the courses and the network of peers has been great for building a career in the field.

Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2015

I have really enjoyed the courses offered for the Engineering Management program from Northeastern. I would like to see them offer even more online classes for those of us that live outside the Boston area. The program is perfect for students that are working full time, and I have definitely been using everything I've learned.

I like the way professor's try to keep the class knowledgeable and entertaining. All the career related(which courses to choose etc) help from faculty member's is very much appreciated. NEU is a perfect place to mingle and interact with the students from different nationalities and get to know their culture.
