Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2017

This program is excellent. Its much more competitive than GCU and other similar schools but thats because they are choosier with their candidates. The classes and material are really well designed and thought out. The professors are all awesome, super smart and inspiring, but also compassionate. In this program, you get unique hands on experience (practicum lab that sees clients, group counseling, peer to peer counseling) and Dr. Farmer helps his students grow to their true potential.

It was a great experience. They had flexible schedules for a full time worker like myself, and great instructors. I felt like my education was valued.

Degree: Fitness Trainer
Graduation Year: 2019

The Northern Arizona University Athletic Training program is one of the best, if not the best programs in the country. Their focus on teaching Evidence Based Practices helps the student fully prepare for a career in Athletic Training. I would highly recommend this program to anyone pursuing a career in athletic training.

Degree: Special Education
Graduation Year: 2017

Masters in Special Education. This is not a teaching track, so if you plan on teaching, you will have to do another 16 classes to get your license. After I am done in December, I will have to carry on with school for another 27 credit hours to obtain my teaching license as well as complete my student teaching.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2016

Deciding whether an educational institution is right for you can be tough. I had to make that decision a year ago when I searched for universities to get my masters degree in educational leadership. Ive decided to go to Northern Arizona University because in comparison to other universities the tuition is less, smaller classrooms, and various extended campuses throughout Arizona. Going to various NAU extended campuses I can tell you that all have one thing in common-caring staff. I would recommend this university for anyone who is interested in growing professionally and educationally.

Instructors were knowledgeable and informative in their respective field. The W.A. Franke School of Business is located on the west side of Flagstaff, and is in a green building. University offers a variety of degrees and programs.
