Degree: Counseling

I attended NKU for both undergrad and graduate school. I worked on campus and enjoyed the campus atmosphere, students and staff. The professors were excellent and very knowledgeable within the field of counseling.

Degree: Organizational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019

I am returning to NKU for the second time. I graduated in 2011 with an undergraduate in English and it was an amazing experience. I really enjoyed the personalized teaching from the professors. They really wanted me to succeed. I believe that the ELOC program will be no different. When I was accepted the director, Chris Taylor, called me personally to congratulate me. I am looking forward to being home in my alma mater for this new adventure.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

It is a fairly new program, so they are still working out some problems, but fairly rigorous.

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2017

Unfortunately, being an evening student at a law school leaves much to be desired. We miss out on a lot of opportunities to socialize with our peers because we have to take classes at night and have work commitments during the day. The social aspect is important in law school because it creates a support system for students, helps aid with retention rates, and overall contributes to the success of the student. When you don't have that support from fellow law students and fail to have a connection to those in the program full-time, it creates a disconnect.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2016

I think NKU is a wonderful university. I attended NKU for my undergraduate degree and when I decided to pursue my master's I knew NKU is where I wanted to be. I feel that the faculty is extremely helpful, tuition is affordable and I love the smaller class sizes. Overall I feel that NKU provides a warm and safe environment that promotes educational and personal growth. Its a great place to network within a group of individuals who really care about the community and college.
