Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2018

I am currently working towards my Masters Degree in Business at Devos Graduate School at Northwood University. So far, I am very impressed by how their program allows you to work together with the Cohort and focuses on using real life challenges to teach you. I look forward to the rest of my time here at Northwood and would recommend this program to everyone. I chose this program because of the success other business professionals in the area have had, with the same degree from Northwood.

Love the cohort-based model! The evening availability onsite allows me to interact in person with peers, yet accommodate a full-time work schedule. The consideration of work experience in the admissions process was helpful. Staff and faculty are accessible and accommodating and the professors have a wealth of practical, real-life experience to share.

This is the fifth institution of higher learning I've attended in Michigan and it is the BEST experience I've had. I do not have a business background and am a non-traditional student, so the cohort model works very well for me. The discussion format and case analyses match my style of learning. I really do enjoy my program, have learned a lot, and believe I will be quite competent upon graduation.

The program was great and flexible being an online program. There could have been more scholarships that they could have offered for MBA students in our program though.

The program builds expands your current tool box and provides classroom and work experience to excel into a leader. Draw backs are location and flexibility if you are a long distance commuter.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2013

Pros: The professors are so helpful and accessible. They truly want their students to succeed. The tuition of the MBA program is another plus! Very reasonable! The program is case-based so it really challenges perceived view points and mindsets. Cons: Not sure if finance classes adequately prepared me. I was also expecting more diversity with respects to professional levels and nationalities and do not find that.

The program that I am following in Florida is young, it has only 3 years. Besides that we have some good professors, professional people that follows you in every steps of your graduate career at Northwood. There is something to improve, but surely the program (Cohort driven case study) and the staff will grow by the time and will have the success that it deserves.
