"The first thing to say about this program is it’s not a clinical program which means if you do not wish to pursue the PhD program you are screwed. No option for licensure. No, you can’t even get licensed for Registered Mental Health Intern. When I checked with the board they pretty much told me to do my Masters all over again. No real direction, once you are accepted no one from admissions or career services reaches out. Additionally, you never know who to contact. Your professors will tell you this is just a stepping stone, you will need to continue for clinical certification. I spoke with the Program Director and she wished me the best of luck. I think the only really good part of the program are the teachers for the most part but for the price and the payoff it makes no sense. The director said it’s the knowledge and not what you can get with the program on a masters level. It makes sense to either do MHC or SW and get licensed. Don’t waste your money."

"My experience with Nova Southeastern University was great. The teachers answered any questions I had in a timely manner. The topic discussions were interesting and every one respectfully participated. Lots of reports to write. The financial aid department processed payments on time ."

"I enjoyed going to Nova Southeastern University. I found the campus life inviting and I liked the education I received. The teachers were knowledgeable and willing to help us. They also worked to make sure we understood the material and that we had access to resources that would help us."

"I have had no issues with Nova. My academic advisor was the best from day 1. She followed up in a timely manner to all calls and emails. Professors were professional. All of their contact information including office , home, and cell numbers. Only one professor posed a problem but for the most part, everything was good."

"I had a great experience at NOVA. The coursework was challenging! Everything ran smooth and I completed my Masters in a Year. The professors were very helpful and approachable. My interactions with them were very professional and informative. Also, the admissions process was very smooth. That was one of the reasons I chose this university."

"Online program has a lot of technical issues with people being knocked out of the virtual classrooms with no other review materials Classes do not have recorded lectures and teachers forget to record lectures there is no way to review. I feel I wasted money here and transferred to new university after two semesters of bad technical issues very expensive school to have so many problems"

"I completed all course work in the program. When I went to write my dissertation. When he did finally reply to my second request for communication, he basically told me to go away. I was not supported by the Dean, who took 9 weeks and two messages to reply, or by the Vice President of Student Affairs, who promised to get back to me after his investigation, but never did. The faculty member did not follow the rules as they were described in the Dissertation Guide or the Graduate Catalog and no one at Nova seemed to mind that."

"My experience at Nova South Eastern has been excellent. The Professors are approachable, consistent, they follow-up with student concerns and questions. Generally all staff at Nova South Eastern, displayed good customer service practice. During my academic studies at Nova South Eastern I took ill with Cancer, and was not able to find any resources available to assist with the financial aide aspect, after taking a leave of absence. My studies were placed on hold due to an outstanding debt of 5,000 for classes I did not attend. I inherited a debt, which was acrued due to a mis communication with class withdrawals. Although my overall experience with NMova was great, I see a need for the school to provide better directions for those students that take ill with terminal illness."
