Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2015

My program of study is solely offered online. I really believe that this program should also be offered in the different satellite locations as well as the main campus.

Degree: Secondary Education
Graduation Year: 2015

The pros: The program matched my career objectives and was relevant to real-world solutions in my academic interest. The program was engaging, challenging and vigorous. The instructors, each and everyone of them, were knowledgeable and well-versed in the subject matter taught. The classes were fast-paced, innovative and technologically "cutting-edge" allowing me to experience the best in educational tools. The cons: The school is private and was very expensive for my budget. I'm still trying to get money to pay a 3000.00 balance. There are not many payment options other than financial aid which I've used extensively to the point it is no longer available to me. I cannot move-on until this balance is paid.

Degree: Marriage & Family Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

I love my gradate program because it really is like having another family. The faculty and staff are amazing and always willing to help in any way they can. They also have a great network and internship opportunities.

The unrated categories should not count in the overall rating, because I'm ONLY an on-line students and therefore can't form an opinion about some of the items.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

Pros is that it is a fully online graduate program where I can work at my own time. The cons is that I do not have access to all the resources the on-campus students have.

NOVA Southeastern University is one of the most prestigious schools in the state of Florida. Prior to attending, I was utterly intimidated. However, the wonderful counselors and professors made me feel right at home! The financial officers at NOVA were willing to break a limb to ensure that I was sure as a student. I am truly grateful for my experience at NOVA Southeastern University.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2014

The convenience of having distance learning centers and online courses is great. The Ed. Leadership program is practical in that the classes are offered at night and on the weekends which is great for working professionals.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

One of the pros is the small classroom size and the accessibility of faculty. In addition, it is seldom the case that a TA will teach the course. If anything, a TA will fill in at times, which always ends up to be helpful anyways. Another pro would have to be the access to the BTI Clinic, which is the most effective therapeutic training tool i have every come across. Honestly, the biggest con would have to be the parking.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2016

NSU is a great school for higher education. Although it is expensive and time consuming, it is well worth it! Some of the pros of the DPT program at NSU is that there great resources available for students, amazing faculty and quality of education, as well as a beautiful campus with lots of socializing activities. Some of the cons of the program is that it is highly rigorous and taxing. I truly cannot wait for the day that I graduate and can proudly be an NSU alumni!

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2016

The program (Conflict Analysis and Resolution) is an excellent one. Students have a choice of pursuing studies in a residential/online format. The following tracks are currently offered which allow for students to focus on a specific interest: Conflict & Crisis Management Culture and Ethnic Conflict International Peace and Conflict Conflict in Organizations, Schools The diverse faculty boast exceptional skills and are eager to help students ready themselves for graduate level undertaking. There are many support systems away from the administrative personnel. Working groups are especially helpful to students who have a range of interests as well as groups that are geared towards the dissertation phase of doctoral study. There is a challenge however in attracting scholarships. Novel ideas will have to be engineered to assure that graduates are able to meet their personal objective as they prepare to be change agents of the future.
