Student & Graduate Reviews

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2015

A major pro to my program is online class offering. Online classes offer me the accessibility for flexibility. A con is finding someone to help with guidance questions. I'm not sure if it is because it a fairly new program but it is definitely an opportunity they can work on.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2015

The graduate program is intense, but I believe that it is harder for me since it's all online. I miss the classroom environment, but technology has made it feel as close to a classroom as possible.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

The courses are all of good quality and relevant to the classroom for teachers. However some of the Professor are rather difficult to work with in general. The courses are all designed to lead you through your dissertation yet there is no real connection to the dissertation process. The dissertation process as a whole needs to be completely changed as the support level is minimal at best.

NSU is an amazing university! The scientific-model and community centered programs are stellar. The opportunities that I gained from networking, professors, internships are just a few of the benefits that I gained from attending NSU. I LOVE THE UNIVERSITY with a passion! The con is simply that it is very expensive, but quite frankly you see where the money goes.

My graduate program provides alot of opportunities after graduation

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2017

I have been very informed on upcoming events and school information. The cost of attendance is high but I think that it is worth the money I pay for my education. Nova offers many social events to help the students get to know each other including mixers and a Facebook group in which the Dean is very involved. I have made many useful connections which will help me have a successful future.

Degree: MBA

The facility is new and beautiful! Also, the network outside of the school (especially in South Florida) is underrated by most standards and is something law students should be taking into heavy consideration when determining law schools. Nova is on the rise!

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2010

My grad program is wonderful, it allows me to take courses for my JD degree on a part-time basis. The staff and faculty have been so helpful and informative. As a working student this program is great for me to accomplish my goal of being a lawyer.

Degree: Forensic Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016

My graduate program will afford me the opportunity to help many victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The only problem I see with it is that the field is a bit more competitive to enter, which may be difficult for someone my age.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2016

I resigned from a civil service position in the DC area to pursue my MBA at the Huizenga School of Business. If your goal is to work in the south Florida business community, Nova is the premier school.
