Great program and professors! The Graduate Assistant program is a terrific opportunity for students who've just graduated and haven't entered the workforce yet. You gain work experience, discounted tuition, and a small stipend. However, if you're a working professional finding a Practicum site can be difficult. The program office offers very little assistance, simply a dated list of available sites. But the sites on the lists want students that can work normal office hours like 9-5. So you are left with finding a Practicum site on your own.

My university is an extremely diverse online institution where you can truly take control of your learning. The professors are always willing to work with you to meet your academic and career needs. I am very pleased with choosing an online institution that truly has my best interest in mind.

Degree: Reading & Literacy Education
Graduation Year: 2009

The education I received at Nova University was nothing short of amazing. Even though I completed the program online the required contact hours at schools with teachers and reading coaches allowed me to have real world insight. The courses completely prepared me for the position I am currently in as a reading coach. This school taught me a plethora of information and enlightened me with a plethora of tools needed to help students become successful readers.

NSU provided me with a flexible and rewarding experience. I am a full time teacher so I needed online class and help. the professors at NSU provided their personal cell phones numbers whenever I needed assistance. Currently, I have a perfect 4.0 GPA and that is all because the NSU staff is always willing to help me. Several of my professors have given me the opportunity to rewrite my papers if they feel like I can do better. I have never felt like a teacher believed i me the way the ones here do. Thank you all so much!

Degree: Special Education
Graduation Year: 2019

My experience with my university so far has been great. Everyone I have came in contact with in various departments, has helped me with a willing and positive attitude. My degree program has been educational and enjoyable. My professors are encouraging and do a great job of lifting us up. I can see by their actions that they find joy in making sure we are prepared for the job once we complete all of our courses. They make themselves available by phone and email for those of us taking all online courses.

Nova Southeastern University is a beautiful campus with lots of resources available to students. The on campus Graduate Student Apartments are located in walking distance to campus and the apartments have a private pool and grilling area. The gym and parking are included in student fees!

Nova Southeastern is a great school that has many career options. The campus is beautiful, and there are many amenities for students. The Anesthesiologist Assistant program is rigorous and consists of a full load of classes the first year, and the second year is the clinical year.
