Degree: Special Education

My experience with my university so far has been great. Everyone I have came in contact with in various departments, has helped me with a willing and positive attitude. My degree program has been educational and enjoyable. My professors are encouraging and do a great job of lifting us up. I can see by their actions that they find joy in making sure we are prepared for the job once we complete all of our courses. They make themselves available by phone and email for those of us taking all online courses.

Nova Southeastern University is a beautiful campus with lots of resources available to students. The on campus Graduate Student Apartments are located in walking distance to campus and the apartments have a private pool and grilling area. The gym and parking are included in student fees!

Degree: Anesthesia Technician
Graduation Year: 2008

Nova Southeastern is a great school that has many career options. The campus is beautiful, and there are many amenities for students. The Anesthesiologist Assistant program is rigorous and consists of a full load of classes the first year, and the second year is the clinical year.

The staff was very supportive and the professors were accessible. The courses were engaging and interactive. The administrative office at Nova was very efficient in assisting me with financial aid, class scheduling, and all other administrative issues.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

It is difficult to judge a college when it comes to a post-graduate degree. I was in a working professionals program which was every Friday night and Saturday. The classes were small and it was easy to make friends and form a good network of colleagues

Great professors who are experts in their field. The campus is beautiful and everyone is so friendly.

Degree: Biomedical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2019

I have learned a lot in the biomedical informatics program, but I do not believe it prepares one for entrance into the workforce. The curriculum mostly focuses on IT project management in healthcare, but does not provide the appropriate computer science foundation in algorithms and coding for EHRs and data manipulation. The professors in the program are very knowledgeable and are always available to assist their students. I would recommend becoming a registered health information technician or getting a computer science background to get the most out of this program. Otherwise, this program does a great job at preparing one for project management and preparing one for the current climate within the healthcare field.
