Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

It is difficult to judge a college when it comes to a post-graduate degree. I was in a working professionals program which was every Friday night and Saturday. The classes were small and it was easy to make friends and form a good network of colleagues

Degree: Biomedical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2019

I have learned a lot in the biomedical informatics program, but I do not believe it prepares one for entrance into the workforce. The curriculum mostly focuses on IT project management in healthcare, but does not provide the appropriate computer science foundation in algorithms and coding for EHRs and data manipulation. The professors in the program are very knowledgeable and are always available to assist their students. I would recommend becoming a registered health information technician or getting a computer science background to get the most out of this program. Otherwise, this program does a great job at preparing one for project management and preparing one for the current climate within the healthcare field.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019

Nova definitely has great online programs that allow you to manage your time wisely while simultaneously having enough courtesy to understand life happens. They are super friendly and helpful also. When I first applied, they reached to me via text and email to see if I needed anything. Just as well, the staff from the department sent me some links for graduate school scholarships that I'd qualify for to help reduce the cost of education. I've never heard of such a thing. I think that gesture when well above and beyond, and honestly, definitely made me feel like I chose the right institution.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2014

Nova Southeastern University is a great school to attend for graduate studies. Faculty and staff are very helpful and go above and beyond to ensure that all your needs are met as a student. The program I completed, Masters of Science in Psychology, has greatly assisted me in advancing in the field. I received multiple job offers once I added the education to my resume. Nova Southeastern University is a school that is recognized by most employers in my region.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2017

Nova Southeastern University is one of the best schools I have ever been to. Although I do not physically attend the school, the counselors and teachers are very patient and helpful. I am taking my courses online because I am currently working at the Department of Human Services in Greenville, MS. I am trying to further my education by receiving a degree in Exceptional Student Education. The staff at NOVA have been helping me every step of the way and I really appreciate them.

I really proud of my school, they take care of the students. Whenever I had a problem there's always someone to help me. They have online support. The classes are great and I recommended to so many friends how wants like me have a new path on our career.

Degree: Special Education
Graduation Year: 2016

This year, I will be acquiring my Educational Specialist degree from Nova Southeastern University with a major in Teaching and Learning, while focusing on Elementary Education. Nova has influenced my approach to teach by my post-secondary education and real-world experiences with learners of the technological age. Throughout my studies at Nova Southeastern University, I apply a broad range of research-based instructional and cognitive strategies that has demonstrated high achievement. Through my teaching experience thus far, I have found the multitude of strategies and method to facilitating rather than dictating to be a higher beneficial style of instruction. I have learned that if students use critical thinking skills and construct their learning experiences they will not only retain information longer, but they will also become more confident in their abilities. Being devoted to this assertion confirms that I have made the right career choice for myself. I love working with children and will continue to be a positive influence in their life.

Degree: MBA in Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2018

I believe that the education I received from NSU was not equal to the amount of money that I paid for the degree. Classes were done solely online and instructors were often not as tech savvy as you would expect for this type of learning. Instructor knowledge varied but the university offered very little in terms of support while attending. The university has done nothing to make me have pride in the school. I plan to continue to earn my degree but I will not consider myself an alum of this institution. I believe a better education can be found elsewhere at a better value.

Degree: Cultural Studies
Graduation Year: 2018

Nova Southeastern University is a school that is innovative. They carry a number of their programs online while still having programs at their main campus. This is wonderful for students like me who work full time. I need flexibility in my education because I work full time and the program I am in, as well as the teachers, support me because they know my schedule. All staff and offices are very responsive because of the nature of the program. They provide in depth information in all communications and make themselves available for phone calls or even video calls. A great school to work with!
