"I successfully completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Nova Southeastern University in 2005. The program offered professors with real world experience and a curriculum that was right on track. We had a combination of appropriate courses that challenged us, along with independent and group work. I am still connected and friendly with many of the professors and students. I thoroughly enjoyed the program and feel it made a huge impact on my career path. After twelve years of work experience, I am now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (MFA - Interior Design) degree at the New York School of Interior Design. The MFA will teach me design skills and the MBA has taught me the business skills I need to operate a design business successfully. My combined work experience and education has given me a strong foundation and will allow me to exceed my clients expectations."

"Nova provides a face-to-face environment with the least amount of disruption to the work week as the classes take place on Saturday. The university also offers online classes, which made it possible for me to complete my master's at a much quicker pace. Also an advantage is that it offers trimesters rather than semesters. Do not be fooled, however, as the courses are equally rigorous. You will be responsible for the equal amount of content. My adviser was wonderful and was key in my obtaining my first administrative position. This degree has opened many doors for me. Excellent choice."

"I enjoyed going to Nova Southeastern University. I found the campus life inviting and I liked the education I received. The teachers were knowledgeable and willing to help us. They also worked to make sure we understood the material and that we had access to resources that would help us."

"I will be starting this program in May, but I already have great things to say. Everyone that I have met has been beyond helpful. I am never afraid to call or email with a question and they are always answered in a timely manner. I have also heard great things about the school from many different sources, which excites me even more. Having connections with schools that have positive reviews are so important especially when trying to find a job. The professors were very nice, smart, and decimated when I met them at my interview, which will aide in being a successful student."

"The physician assistant program and Nova Southeastern University provided me with a great foundation to start my career as a PA. Although rigorous, the professors challenge students with medical knowledge and have incredible expectations. The campus is very well maintained and extremely safe. The university is flexible with parking for students that live off campus. The facilities are well kept and always provide students with a great environment for learning. I highly recommend this degree and university for all those who are considering applying!"

"This school is the absolute worst. You want to take a certain class? well you probably can't considering it's not available till an even year winter semester or an odd year fall semester. Want to take summer classes? well you can't get scholarships or use your fasfa... so then why not transfer to a college for summer and then come back? Well you can't because if you do, those credits do not count. Want to ever transfer out of NSU? WELL YOU CAN'T because nsu's credits can't transfer to the other colleges because of the rules that nsu made in order for you to be stuck at the school. Already payed your tuition for the semester? well guess what, you're going to have a phone call every week about how you didn't pay and they're putting a hold on your classes. Had scholarships for the whole year? well watch out for next year because they just might cancel the scholarships without telling you even when your grades are the same and you're on the deans list. Are you in the arts department? well news for you, they hold no auditions, so anyone and everyone is let even if they have no talent"

"It's a very new program and nobody seems to know what they're doing there. It is completely unorganized, staff are very unprofessional, and there's a lack of support with clinical placement, etc the list goes on and plenty of drama and politics. So disappointed"

"This degree program is a great choice for anyone wanting to purse a PsyD. They were willing to work with my deployment to help me take military leave and then made the transition back into school easier. The professors are very passionate about what they are teaching and make the classes interesting."

"The MBA program is very rigorous but the professors are readily available to assist you to ensure your success! There are group projects in almost every class. I definitely suggest taking the classes in person! I took a one online class. It wasn't necessarily difficult. It's just a task trying to do a group project when your classmates are literally all over the place."

"Norfolk State is a great school that has many class options, online and on campus. The business department was like a family that encouraged and motivated the students. The school had many student activities that breed the Spartan culture. The financial aid department was kind of hard to deal with and lacked communication and direction."

"I am very pleased with my five years attending NSU's EdD program. Not only are the faculty superb professionals, they truly cared about each doctoral learner as a person! My current Chair is a wonderful educator who provides sound guidance blended with lots of enthusiasm for me to complete my dissertation's last two chapters. I have helped three friends matriculate into the EdD program and yes they still speak to me. :-) My only challenge is with certain members of traditional academia with PhD's who admit to a bias against hiring EdD degree holders. Go check out NSU and their terrific campus in Fort Lauderdale."

"I have had no issues with Nova. My academic advisor was the best from day 1. She followed up in a timely manner to all calls and emails. Professors were professional. All of their contact information including office , home, and cell numbers. Only one professor posed a problem but for the most part, everything was good."

"I love Nova Southeastern University. First of all the campus is just so beautiful. I also believe that students receive a quality education for at this institution. The student-to-faculty ratio is low and the staff and administration are very helpful with the students. I feel a strong sense of community there and would recommend this university to anyone. The only downside about the university may be expensive tuition."
