"I absolutely loved my time at Ohio State. I always wanted to attend a big school and wanted a typical college experience. My freshman year I made so many friends in my freshman dorm. I spent the rest of my college experience with these same friends. I also made a lot of friends in my major. Ohio State is a big campus, but it never felt big because there were so many student clubs and ways to make friends. I became an RA my sophomore year and I really enjoyed living on campus again as it was so easy to feel part of the campus community. I loved it so much that I was an RA my junior and senior years too. Some of the best memories from college are from living in the dorms. I really enjoyed my classes, had tons of fun on the weekends with friends, had fun exploring Columbus, spent a semester abroad (I was a Spanish major), joined some interesting student organizations, and overall had a blast at OSU. The degree also really helped me land my “real” job. My college experience blew away my expectations and I am still totally in love with Ohio State. I will always think fondly of my years at OSU. How Firm Thy Friendship!"

"I had an amazing time at Ohio State- I think attending an enormous university allowed me to develop social and leadership skills that I wouldn't have been able to build in a smaller program. More importantly, Ohio State's in-state tuition, along with many generous scholarships funded by donors, allowed me to patch together a series of 14 scholarships that funded my undergraduate education. I wouldn't have been able to attend college without these scholarships, and am thankful to this day for all the opportunities provided."

"My experience at Ohio State made me the ambitious, goal oriented and eager person I am to help other students looking to enter their undergraduate program. The Ohio Stat University main campus is daunting, the campus is huge, but the family is so welcoming. Once your major is decided your campus becomes smaller, your family becomes more intimate and you have access to any supports you may need. Ohio State will forever be a home to me and I will be forever grateful to my years spent there. Go bucks!"

"Loved THE Ohio State University! There are a lot of places where you can grow and explore. Many different clubs and organizations that will allow you to be exposed to either things you love or that are new to you. It's a very diverse school and you will have a lot of resources."

"The Construction Systems Management (CSM) program at OSU is very organized and adequately prepared a student for a career in the construction industry. The program incorporated a required internship as part of the coursework curriculum. I was able to maintain an internship throughout my undergraduate coursework. This gave me job experience and the start of a professional network in the construction industry. The college should strive for accreditation and possibly establish a graduate degree program. However, they have collaborated with the architecture school to offer a double major with the CSM degree."

"Oh the wonders of State universities. I was in a class of 850 others for a Marketing class...unbelievable, but when you have over 100 year old brick and mortar facilities to maintain you have to get your money somewhere. After the mandatory classes are over you are in smaller classes. My major typically only had 30-40 students in them. OSU is a great place to learn, but you really have to dig for it. A big plus is the success of the football team. Everyone has heard of THE Ohio State University and it will definitely open some doors for you. Just brace yourself for the endless contacts from the Alumni association looking for $$$$$. You will be well advised to take AP Calculus and Physics and transfer the credit so you do not have to take classes from non-English speaking TA's."

"My experience at The Ohio State University was overwhelmingly positive. The diversity of the student body and the energy on campus was unmatched, and as I continue to meet people who have had a different college experience, I have no doubt that I made the right choice. The Ohio State College of Social Work in particular was a great example of a niche I feel lucky to have been a part of during my undergraduate years. Potential students are often intimidated by the size of a large university like Ohio State; however, I strongly believe it's all a matter of finding smaller communities on campus to become a part of. There are hundreds of student organizations, volunteer, and learning opportunities to take advantage of. The faculty are wonderful and supportive. Anyone can find a place for themselves at The Ohio State University, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering making the commitment."

"The Department of Food Science and Technology at OSU stands out among top food science programs across the nation because of its esteemed and accomplished faculty and strong affiliations with major industry leaders. When I joined the department as a graduate student I was a full time employee working in my field of study. The university provided amazing support and flexibility in order for me to reach my academic and professional goals. Through continued studies, I anticipate being a highly inquisitive solution seeker and knowledgeable researcher capable of making contributions to food science and humanity that would never be possible without the human and scientific resources of a great university such as OSU."

"It has been quite some time since I completed the undergrad program so there may have been some changes but I would have appreciated a little more emphasis on commercial construction and the typical protocol and procedures affiliated with managing a commercial project. Covering simple construction administrative topics such as RFIs, submittals, document control, scheduling (in more detail), BIM coordination (which they may do now) would have been helpful in entry level employment."

"I loved being at Ohio State and the Ag campus felt like a close community. Some of the large first year science classes however, were too large and made it difficult to learn. I enjoyed all of the opportunities Ohio State provided me as far as extracurriculars and would highly recommend this school!"

"O-H! Ohio State may seem big and intimidating but it is really one big family. The Buckeye Family is one that is loving and supportive. That is particularly true for both the Psych and Women's Studies department. Through my double major I gained a better understanding of the world around me. The professors want you to succeed and they are always available for advice or a friendly chat. The curriculum is designed to give you both breadth and depth of any subject. It was a honor to go to this school that has taught generations of my family and I would recommend it to anyone."

"The psychology program at OSU is incredible. Many top researchers in the field teach courses here and it helps tremendously to have their insight and real world connections to theories we are studying. Columbus has many great resources and places for internships to prepare you for any career path you might take. I personally loved having the Nisonger center right on campus as I focused on youth and developmental disabilities. I had a preceptorship here my senior year and learned more in a few weeks than I would have anywhere else. Truly priceless opportunity."

"The Architecture program at Ohio State is among the most time demanding majors on campus. Spending majority of my time in the studio spaces of Knowlton I learned several computer programs that allow for flexibility in the field, how to work with people who have different ideas, and how to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. Ohio State is where I met some of the most helpful faculty members that helped shaped my career and some of the best people that are now my closest friends."
