Ohio state is a wonderful university. I chose this graduate program because their social work department is very diverse in their education styles and what they offer in classes. This program offers a lot for an individual wanting to learn but the cost is pretty steep and financial aide is not really offered too all who apply. I received my bachelors in social work from Ohio State university as well and am looking forward to working towards my masters in an environment that really requires students to think outside of the box.

This is a branch campus, primarily commuter. The program begins in Newark, then switches to main campus in Columbus. The program provides flexibility and a low-cost option, without compromising quality. Class members begin as a "Cohort," so get used to them...you'll be spending a lot of time with them! On the plus side, you won't get frozen out of the foundations courses at Newark. On the other side, not a lot of option in which classes to take in the first year. That changes when you switch to main campus.
