"Pepperdine Law is a supportive environment that prepares students for success in a career in law. However, the price of a Pepperdine education and the price of Malibu living are cons."

"I have been out of school for quite a while and Pepperdine's professor's and students make me feel welcome. I enjoy all of my classes and I'm learning a lot. The professor's use all types of modalities for the different types of learners. This is a great experience where I can actually use and apply what I am learning to real life and my career."

"Depending on the luck of the draw, Pepperdine can be a truly great eduction program that offers a lot to current and former students. There is an extensive network, and depending also on site location, people with incredible networking skills that they use to help students with field placements and even job placements after the program has ended. Professors know you by name, and have real classroom experience to back their lessons. The downside to the program is that there is no personalization option available. They have a single track that all students follow if they are looking for their credential and masters. It would be drastically improved if there were specialty classes within the university that offered a diverse class selection to fit student interest and needs."

"Excellent academic standards for the most part. Like any program there are teachers who aren't up to par but this is the exception rather than the rule. The grounds are very clean, very safe with advanced technology. The writing lab support is below standard and I haven't been assigned an adviser yet but I haven't asked for one either. The online system is streamlined and very easy to use. It is easy to sign up for classes, process financial aide and make payments. Pepperdine has excellent professional networking opportunities and Pepperdine students are well regarded in any field. Overall, I'm very happy with the graduate program in clinical psychology."

"Excellent and convenient location. All the faculty and staff members were helpful even before I applied to the program. It is competitive but rewarding in the challenges. Private education can be quite expensive, but the price is worth the high quality of education received."

"Pepperdine's MFT evening program has small classes. The teachers are very engaged and are able to give you lots of personal feedback and advice. This is an excellent program."

"I haven't been into the program very long but I feel so satisfied and happy that I went with Pepperdine. The faculty is excellent, nice, supportive and dedicated to making you the most competent, knowledgable and understanding therapist possible. Pros - faculty, they make the schedule one that a working person can work with, they locations are very convenient, I feel like I'm working with good people who are invested in their field. Cons - I wish it weren't so expensive"

"I have recently started the graduate program at Pepperdine University and so far i am amazed at how different it is from the undergraduate program. The students participating in the program are very experienced and knowledgeable. Being at Pepperdine gave me a chance to meet a lot of new people from different backgrounds. It is very interesting and challenging at the school. The staff is amazing. They are there to help you and assist whenever you need them. I certainly recommend the graduate program to all students. I have recently received my Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine and i am looking forward to the graduate program they have to offer."

"I had a great experience in the program. There were times when the program seemed a bit disorganized but was overall successful in teaching and implementing most recent theories of education."

"The master's level psychology program at Pepperdine University provides courses that are both challenging and informative. The professors create a supportive atmosphere in class discussions and encourage student involvement. In my opinion, the cost of living and the cost of tuition are the only cons in attending this university. The education and experience that Pepperdine University provides is truly invaluable, which makes my student loans seem less daunting."

"There were many advantages to studying at Pepperdine University. Among the advantages were the sense of community and the quality of education in the graduate programs. My studies prepared me to begin a doctorate program and it has already given me experience in my field of interest. One area that the program would benefit from would be to encourage students from diverse backgrounds to attend the schools of the university. The university should also provide more scholarships."

"The program provided many projects that have practical applications- not just writing papers for the sake of it like many other programs. The information is very useful and would benefit organizations looking for innovation and change."

"The program was far from rigorous, though the faculty and staff consistently demonstrated great care toward their students and interest in their success. There is strong opportunity for networking with faculty as well as peers, but the knowledge and experience base conferred with respect to professional preparation leaves much to be desired."

"The location is ideal. The student ratio is great for a personalized education -- questions can be quickly answered and the educational/professional relationship between students and professors can be built to help support your education and career goals. Professors know your name and what your goals are and can support you in getting there. Although the school is not highly diverse, there are various students from other countries and backgrounds; however, many students are from California. The campus is safe and education quality is fantastic. There are a few professors that are more challenging than others."
