Degree: Organizational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2019

I was seeking an opportunity to grow professionally in the field I am in now. PLNU offers the opportunity to become a leader, work in diverse communities and manage organization with sharpened skills. Advisors, staff and professors care about your professional development and are always willing to answer any questions.

Degree: Fitness Trainer
Graduation Year: 2018

PLNU is an amazing school. It's big enough to be a recognized name, yet classes are personal and instructors know your name. The kinesiology program, specifically, is great if your already working in the field, classes are on-line or late enough in the day that you can work your typical job around your class schedule. I wouldn't hesitate doing another degree here.

Degree: Clinical Psychology
Graduation Year: 2018

Point Loma's new Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling is a great new addition to its growing options in graduate studies. The small cohort sizes provide you with the opportunity to get to know your classmates and your professors and allow for a productive and safe environment for discussion. I feel like I am constantly learning applicable and relevant information that will aid me in my future career as a counselor.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2017

If you are looking for a program that is wonderfully flexible and allows you to keep your day job, this is the perfect Biology Masters Program. The staff is also incredibly helpful and truly care about the success of their students. The PLNU campus is safe, has a gorgeous view of the ocean, and is supportive with plenty of activities. If you have been considering your MS in Biology, you will not regret this program.

Degree: Exercise Science
Graduation Year: 2016

The professors here are awesome! The classes I took for my masters program were difficult but had the help of many students and professors. Everyone I met from this school from other students to workers in the library were all great people. I highly recommend this school.

Degree: Exercise Science
Graduation Year: 2016

Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) accelerate master's program under the Kinesiology program was insightful. I was able to learn at a faster pace with a very diverse group of students. It was a great hybrid experience for those students with a family and a job. At the end of the program, you are able to choose to complete a capstone project, thesis, or complete a comprehensive exam as a final. This is definitely a place to think about attending because of the length and networking experience.

Degree: Business

The pros - PLNU is a smaller university which provides the personable feel. The counselors, professors, and students are great. No pros that I can think of.

Degree: Special Education
Graduation Year: 2016

I attend a school where all of the faculty knows my name and all the services are easily accessible to me. The only negative comment that I have only has to do with the cost of earning an education at this university at a graduate level. It costs nearly $560 a unit to attend school, which adds up very quickly. While it is a quality education, the debt that accrues is stressful to manage.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2015

Point Loma Nazarene is a great program and prepares their students for the rigors of the business world. Most of the professors have real world experience and were very successful in their previous careers.
