"Being in the heart of downtown Chicago, Roosevelt provides the atmosphere for growing and learning adults. The beauty that the campus displays is impeccable; the view of the historic Buckingham fountain and Lake Michigan is like no other site seen. The campus initiatives and core valves are in line with surrounding communities. Roosevelts progressive academic environment is rich in diversity and attractive to a wide range of students on different continuum of education. The faculty are supportive and instrumental in achieving excellence. The Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences program is designed to help students improve their understanding of the biological sciences to prepare for professional health science programs. This is exactly the program I was looking for because it employs me the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities on the graduate level. The program is an accelerated program that offers rigorous work, personal faculty attention and coursework offered for the working adult. The flexibility in the course work and the mapping of the program was most appealing to me and I'm glad I chose Roosevelt's master's program."

"Roosevelt University is a very diverse and professional school. The management and professors are very knowledgeable, friendly and well educated. The Clinical Psychology (Counseling Program) MA is a great program for anyone interested in Counseling. The professors in the program know their subject, work and have a professional attitude with the students. I would recommend this school and program to anyone interested in Psychology, it has and will continue to increase my knowledge and help me reach my career goal."

"Roosevelt University Online B.A program took great discipline and I did well, but I needed to continue on to Boston University to complete me M.A in criminal justice with a concentration in Cyber-Security and still struggling to find a job. I'm an honors student with a B.A and will complete 3 more classes online to finish my Boston M.A and I'm looking to attend law school @ Mitchell & Hamline to continue my education until I find a steady job after leaving banking of 14 years."

"After completing Community College, I was unsure what steps to take next to further my education. My Mom's concern was that she wanted me closer to home. After doing research at a few local colleges, I decided to give Roosevelt University Chicago an opportunity. The building was beautiful and inviting, it appeared to be like a real engaged university, and it didn't hurt that it was down the street from my place of employment. I had an opportunity to meet new friends, network, and grow as a professional student. I really enjoyed my experience there, and I have just been accepted to return to Roosevelt this fall to complete my Masters of Science Degree in Human Resources. I'm very nervous, as my life has changed drastically after the birth of my son, but I super excited for the possibilities and doors that may open for me returning back to school. I'm glad I've decided to to it."

"I LOVE this program! I often recommend this school to ANY one who shows interest in this program, or even the school. I have also taken other classes here and still enjoyed the school. The faculty is very nice, as well as the support staff. It is easily accessible to anywhere in Chicago, since it is in the heart of downtown. Views of the lake and front row seating to the Taste of Chicago and other festivals."

"I did not like the counseling services for Roosevelt. They were not very helpful, it was mostly hands off and it was difficult to get answers for questions. However, I went to NIU for my undergrad and the English department counseling services were amazing."

"As an alumni of Roosevelt University, I decided to return to complete a Masters degree in Counseling and Human Service. I love the school because its mission is grounded in social justice, with an overall curriculum focusing on diversity and human service. Roosevelt is located in the heart of Chicago, overlooking Lake Michigan and Millineum Park, and downtown Chicago Loop. Roosevelt's Counseling and Human Service: School Counseling program is CACREP accredited, and leads to an Illinois Professional Educator License endorsement. The rigorous curriculum and hands on training will prepare you for future career in counseling. I am glad that I chose to return to Roosevelt to continue my education!"

"Roosevelt University is a university that advocates for social justice. Its courses all seem to have a social justice component which lit my passion to work with my current population (i.e people with disabilities)."

"Roosevelt is a place that is inclusive and guided by a powerful mission of social justice. I have perceived that everyone is truly committed to this goal. The faculty and staff are knowledgeable of the subject-matter and have been effective in making me feel like part of the community. However, I feel that the location results in tuition amounts that are difficult to be met. I find myself struggling to meet the financial demands."

"Roosevelt University's program of study in sustainability studies was very challenging/rewarding and so worth it. I am very happy with the program courses couple with purposeful field studies. The professors are very knowledgeable in the field and the Director of the program Michael Bryson, Ph.D. challenges students but he is very fair. His expectations are very high but this is the reason the program is successful. I earned a degree in this program and feel confident it was worth the time."

"The program I am enrolled in at Roosevelt is intensive and very comprehensive. Instruction has been excellent so far. I am unable to fully comment on factors such as "network" and "social life" because I am new to the university and Chicago area and do not have extensive free time outside of class. I do however see many posters advertising student events which look fun!"

"The greatest strength of my graduate program at Roosevelt University is the knowledge, accessibility, and patience exhibited by all of the faculty. I can say with confidence that every single faculty member will go out of her or his way to ensure that every student understands the subject material. The greatest weakness of my graduate program is the lack of funding available. While there is partial funding for the first year, it is not comparable to other graduate programs in the same specialization."

"Roosevelt University's main campus is located downtown Chicago, giving student easy access to all the beautiful things and events the city has to offer. My classes offer a challenging curriculum which helps keep me on my feet all the time. A major problem is most companies with MBA programs do not recruit directly from Roosevelt University."

"Roosevelt offered me a lot of options that benefit adults that need to get a quality program that is career focused and provides applicable, resume building classes. I also needed a sufficient refresher class as I have not been in the academic environment for about 3 years now and they saw that and met that need with out sacrificing my long term education."

"The program offers a wide variety of classes from theory to skills to ethics. The teachers have for the most part been phenomenal and extremely willing to help students in any way they can. My biggest complaint is that there isn't a lot of accessible advising for students in the program, which is a problem in a field with as many options as psychology."

"The MA in I/O Psychology program at Roosevelt University is challenging and competitive as it gave me the opportunity to explore the field of I/O Psychology. The professor's are engaging and passionate about their subject matter and they evoke a similar passion in their students. Help and support are readily available to students through consultations with the professors as well the career center. Overall, I have found my experience at Roosevelt to be satisfying."

"Roosevelt, while not my first choice for getting my Master's degree Industrial/Organizational (IO) Psychology has come to surprise me over the last year there. The student diversity and passion I have encountered, alongside the professionalism and care that faculty provide were far greater than I had originally expected. Administration and supportive services however, are an enigma of inefficiency. There are many departments understaffed and using preforming poorly in their support functions. Administration does well with upholding certain values and parts of their mission (social justice within the context of diversity) whilst failing on others (poor recycling/sustainability efforts and poor paid employees). The undergraduate programs fall most victim to these peculiarities. The I/O program meanwhile, and most of the graduate school, while not immune stands far away from the odd, Roosevelt specific issues often plaguing undergrads (expensive dorms, chronic issues registering for classes, and "the purge" wherein unpaying students are locked out of the university system)"
