This is a great school, and a great program. I found the teachers, and advisors to be very helpful, and willing. I am active military, and went to school on base, campus, and online. The school took my credits from other programs into theirs and also considered my military experience. They do not hold your hand the entire way (which they shouldn't). They guide you to obtaining the information for yourself. That is a life skill that some may not have learned. Overall, it was a great experience that enabled me to better myself. And I would suggest this school to anyone looking to improve themselves.

I went online for this school and enjoyed it. The teachers were engaged enough online to keep me on track as well as allowing me to learn at my own pace.

I've been a college student for two decades. After going to a private high school--typically with no more than 20 students in any class--transitioning to the University environment was a challenge. As a result, I opted for Community College. Once I completed my AA, then went back for my AS, it was time for me to move on. I was at a crossroads in my life--I had already graduated with two Associate's Degrees, and had just been laid off from my job. I decided to join the military. Ten years later, I had credits from five different schools from around the country, but still no degree. When I transitioned from Active Duty to Reserve, and moved back home, I discovered that Saint Leo had a satellite campus on base. I met with an admissions counselor (who I'm still friends with today!) and he guided me through the process, ensuring that I'd receive the most credit for the courses I'd taken, as well as my "real life," military experience. I immediately enrolled for the following term. Soon after I started, another satellite campus opened up closer to where I lived. I started attending classes at both campuses as well as online. I don't think I ever had more than 10 people in any of my classes. What I enjoyed even more than the individualized attention, was that my instructors didn't just go to school to become a professor--many of them worked in the field. For example, my Business Law professor was an attorney by day, and moonlighting as a college professor in the evenings. This allowed for more than learning from a textbook or hypothetical case studies--instead, we had an actual subject matter expert leading the class. I finally graduated with my BA in Business Management and Marketing in 2012. When the buzz of finally graduating wore off, I set my sights on pursuing a Master's Degree--but I had zero interest in pursuing an MBA! A few short years later, I received an alumni email, inviting me to consider being a part of SLU's newest MA program--a low-residency cohort in Creative Writing. I immediately replied, expressing my interest in applying to the program. To my surprise, I was accepted, and joined others from around the country for our first residency. Funny, we all assumed that with it being a new program, that everyone who applied was accepted. It wasn't until our last night of residency, as our Director was giving a toast, that he mentioned something about us being the best of the best among all the other applicants--we exchanged a few funny looks of confusion, when someone commented that we assumed everyone got in. That moment, as insignificant as it may have seemed, was far more validating that one could possibly imagine. Since that first week together, we've already completed a full year of the program and I've got a 4.0 GPA--not because it's easy! I know my success in this program is directly contributed to the ongoing support and motivation from my cohort and faculty, along with my sense of accountability to my colleagues--we started together as strangers and we will finish together as family. That is what keeps me going through the most challenging times.

Saint Leo provides flexibility that many active duty service members need to accomplish their educational goals. I received my Bachelor's from Saint Leo and was so impressed with them, I went back for my Master's. I would recommend Saint Leo to anyone who is looking to further their education and work full time.

I have been going to Saint Leo University online for a number of years. I have gone to many different universities and this one is by far the abolutely best from the advisors to the professors. I cannot say enough about how good of an experience it has been going to Saint Leo.

I am currently taking classes for my Master's Degree in Business and couldn't be more pleased with my choice in a school for my continued education. The school works around my schedule and helps me maintain a balance of school and work. It has always been a dream of receiving my Master's Degree and St. Leo University is allowing me to achieve that dream.

The pros to my graduate program that are important to me are: the classes are 8 weeks and although the classes are online, everything we need are easily accessible. The one con I have is since everything is online, there is no face-to-face interaction.
