Degree: Legal Studies
Graduation Year: 2014

As a busy individual I appreciate the opportunity to pursue a higher degree online. I found the admissions process to be smooth. As an online student I would to get a discount on tuition and fees since I will not be stepping foot on campus. The professors and staff are helpful and available.

The new campus at the Woodlands is high-tech, however, socially it feels estranged from main campus.

Degree: Criminal Justice
Graduation Year: 2014

SHSU's online MS in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management is a great program for working professionals. I couldn't rate many of the listed categories, because the program is 100% online. Classes are interesting, tuition is reasonable, and faculty and tech support for distance learners is superb.

Degree: Educational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2015

I am currently enrolled in the distance education graduate program, and have had success thus far. The classes are relevant, challenging, and the professors are knowledgeable and accessible. I attended SHSU as an undergrad and enjoyed my experience there, as well. A drawback of distance education are the relationship building opportunities, but as a current Special Education teacher with three children, I am pleased that SHSU can offer such a quality distance education program.

The pros of the program is the use of technology of the program. The cons is the lack of diversity.
