Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

This is my first semester and so far I think they have an excellent set up of class with great support along the way. The program enticed me due to the classes that they offer and the ease of availability as I am taking class part time, while working a full time job and taking care of my family.

The college student development program was social justice based. Professors take the field seriously and are very up to date on research.

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2014

Upon graduating in 2014 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education, my professor encouraged me to continue my education. I obtained a special education endorsement and will complete my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction this spring (two classes away). The professors in this program are very caring and knowledgeable. They have been very understanding of our busy teaching careers and home lives. They offer a hybrid of online and in-person course work, which accommodates busy schedules and has given us additional time to work on our homework. I would recommend this program to new or veteran teachers wanting to advance their degrees.

Degree: Graphic Design
Graduation Year: 2011

Pros are the faculty and staff were very helpful. The cons are the technology in the classrooms needed to be updated at times and we were givenan overload of work at times.

Shepherd University's graduate programs are relatively new. I did my undergraduate program there and the school is great, it offers small classroom sizes and the area is geographically close to Washington DC but nuzzled in a very inexpensive part of West Virginia. The school is very practical and her cheap. I'm applying to the graduate program there currently for Masters of Arts in Teaching. As I said I completed my undergraduate degree in the business college and had helpful and attentive professors and advisers. I would not expect the graduate program to be any different. The only down side of the program is that if a student wants to work outside of the area perhaps WVU would be a more marketable degree as it has more name recognition. For local students Shepherd is a well respected school that gives marketable degrees.
