"Worst parking I’ve ever seen at a college. Tons of employee parking, barley any student lots and also are very far from any class, and commuter parking even further away from classes. Absolutely zero parking at the village. And if you live on the West side of campus goodluck because you can only park in the “west side lots”. Even though you pay $70 for a parking pass they do now allow you to park in East or central resident parking lots if you live on the west side. Needs to be fixed asap especially with all the snow storms. They still expect you to walk 20 mins to class and 20 mins back to your car, and if you don’t you will get a ticket everytime."

"What was disturbing about SUNY Oswego is the lack of available online courses to complete your Online Bachelors Degree in Business. Also Face to Face courses most of the Professors were adjunct and others knew very little about how to teach. You also had professors who rather talk off subject about nonsense during class time wasting valuable time you could be reading and doing assignments. Professors often think class time is leisure and chat time. Attending SUNY Oswego was terrible. You were pushed into taking courses to complete the required credits that had little value or worthless just so you could complete your degree requirements. Waste of money paying for courses that no one could use. The campus itself is horrible including student life. Campus housing is the pits and cost just as much if not more than what you would pay for housing at a private college."

"SUNY Oswego was a great place to pursue my undergraduate degree. Being a double major, I dealt with two different part of the school, both with great success. I found that instructors were personable and always made time for the students, faculty made registering and other class-related decisions easy to follow, and employment opportunities were always available. Extracurriculars such as clubs, intermural sports, and other on-campus activities were also a big part of my experience. I would recommend SUNY Oswego to any student, especially those pursuing Human Development or Art related careers."

"SUNY Oswego had more diversity than I thought for a school upstate. There is plenty to do around campus and even a few things to do around the area, including trips to Syracuse. The campus is right on beautiful lake Ontario, which is amazing to swim in during the summers. I would say my experience as a psychology student was a good one. I had good classes and great professors. There are a good amount of places to eat on campus and the main dining hall even has a free ice cream shop. Also, you can't beat SUNY tuition prices if you are a NY state resident. It's an education that is great for the cost."

"Personally, I LOVED SUNY Oswego. Throughout my four years there, I learned more than I ever thought possible. Academics were challenging, but every professor made sure that you were well equipped for the challenge. Additionally, every professor made themselves available to their students and worked towards making them successful. I made friendships and memories that will last a life time."

"My undergraduate experience was one of the most life changing experiences. I had the opportunity to work with real finance professionals and understand what it takes to make it in the field. I also am blessed to now understand what it means to personally finance and how to go about saving for retirement. Entering Oswego, I didn't have a clue about finance or what it meant to invest or how to go about saving anything. After much struggle and studying, I now have used multiple financial applications as well as multiple excel functions and am able to do multiple kinds of financial simulations. At Oswego, I was able to save a lot of money as well as develop mentally and academically. Since I was an instate resident, I was able to pay instate tuition costs as opposed to out of state costs which really aided with my debt. Since I was a transfer student ( I originally came from a community college) I was able to transfer directly into a suite where I met new people right away. I also was able to walk on to the women's basketball team where I was instantly welcomed and was able to play a sport I loved. While I continued my education, I was able to reach many milestones. I excelled academically, I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude, and I have been accepted into a great masters program. Graduating from Oswego's business school has opened multiple doors for me since it is an AACSB accredited school and well known for its business programs. Attending Oswego has made me better connected with the business community and has not only enlightened me, but has opened my eyes to the many avenues of business that offer multiple ways to make money."

"This degree program is rigorous and takes a lot of hard work and dedication. There are many hands on experiences that happen outside of the classroom, which I believe is preparing me for the field in a way that simply lecturing cannot. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and all have lots of experience in the field as well. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in becoming a school psychologist."

"I am in the second semester of the School Psychology program. So far, the program has been rigorous, but I have learned so much. There is a lot of hands on experience and the professor's are very supportive. However, you have to be prepared to give is your all. The first semester is very intense and you will need to devote a lot of time outside of class to finishing required work. So far, I am loving this field of study and would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in this field!"

"SUNY Oswego is a fantastic institution granting so many opportunities for students to learn, be creative and show what they can do. I started out as a biology major at Oswego and then fell in love with the Health Promotion and Wellness Department and changed my major to Wellness Management with a minor in Nutrition. Oswego is filled with faculty that are willing to help you throughout your years there and I am very satisfied with all that I gained from attended SUNY Oswego."

"SUNY Oswego is a great place to earn your degree. The faculty and staff are not only helpful but supportive of students and their future endeavors. I graduated with a degree in Public justice and a Political Science Minor and found that all my professors had ample office hours, were willing to review material and truly enjoyed teaching. The School has a number of clubs and activities for students to partake in and the study abroad program is amazing, allowing students to study almost anywhere in the world. The campus is beautiful in the fall and late spring although the winters can be brutal. Make sure you have sufficient winter gear (HEAVY coat, boots, gloves, etc.) as classes are rarely canceled so prepare to truck to class in the snow. There are buses that run regularly around campus but when it snows they are always packed. Housing for students is average for underclassmen( Unless you choose to live in Johnson the all freshman newer dorm) and town house style suites for upperclassmen known as the village, you can also choose to live off campus which is much cheaper. Food on campus is pretty good however there are also few food options for delivery to campus which is nice and it can all be charges to your student account which is even nicer. Some of the things the school can improve on would be career preparation for student before graduating. Prep Classes for student looking to further their education such as LSAT, MCAT, or GRE. Transportation to and from the train/bus station ( there were oftentimes not enough buses especially around breaks sometimes you would have to stand for the 60 Minute ride). And if you choose to attend SUNY Oswego having a car while not necessary, makes life a lot easier. Overall, I truly enjoyed my time at SUNY Oswego and would recommend it to anyone. I met amazing people and faculty, studied aboard and eared a great education at a reasonable cost."

"SUNY Oswego was where I called home for 4 years. In those 4 years, I not only received a quality education but I also made friends that will last a lifetime. Being a student-athlete, I learned to manage my time very well trying to balance school, athletics, and a social life. My professors were available when I needed them and were always available to help me when needed."

"I greatly enjoyed my time at SUNY Oswego. It is a beautiful campus with professors that really care about helping you to succeed. I transferred as a in the spring and felt comfortable there right away with all Oswego offers for opportunities to get involved. It is just a thirty minute drive from Syracuse with malls, shopping, and many things to do if you feel like getting away for a weekend while having the semi-small campus feel."

"The programs at this school are quite rigorous, but as long as you put in the effort, it is not impossible to pass. Most of the professors I've had love their job, and it can easily make you excited about the coursework. I've taken 3 hour classes that didn't seem to bad because I had a fun professor. I also loved the diversity in coursework because classes outside of your major can count as electives toward your degree. Campus is also quite nice; there's always something fun to do if you don't want to party like most of the other kids. The only thing that may be difficult is traveling; there are buses but they usually come during class times. You can get where you want to go, but do not expect to take spontaneous trips. There are also two zipcars on campus, but they are usually booked during the weekends. If you want to get off campus, there is a bus to Syracuse and there is a ton of stuff to do there, especially at the mall."

"SUNY Oswego was the best decision I ever made, it completely changed my life! It is the best college I ever experienced because of the quality of the professors, availability of classes, amount of involvement opportunities in clubs and activities that suit everyone's needs, and great transportation. The best aspect is this thing called the D-Bus, aka the "drunk bus" you can call when you're out partying at the bars, no need to ever even think about drinking and driving."

"A degree from this institution does not go a long enough way toward helping you find a middle-income job. The school is considered secondary in the area, behind Cornell and Syracuse. Employers seldom hold any recruiting functions on the campus. A degree with the Communications department feels like a very generalized liberal arts degree. Students have to be very keen on developing their own specialty so to qualify themselves for later employment. Student advisement is not a strength of this school. On the other hand, their student base is very social, and the setting is picturesque (sans the hydro-electric plant that borders the campus). Those are the greatest advantages of the school. You can have fun there, but most serious students plan on grad school. Other graduates from the Communications department often go on to work as interns or staffers at local media companies for very little pay. Just about any other degree betters your short-term employment and salary prospects. There are also other public schools in New York with far better reputations, albeit their tuition is probably higher."

"I loved my time at Oswego. The professors really cared for the students and would push you to become the best possible student. I was involved in many clubs and organizations on campus. This allowed me to make a diverse group of friends, connect with different faculty and staff and make resume stand out when it came time to apply for jobs. I also was able to connect and create lasting friendships with alumni. It definitely helped open the door to help me land my first job at Madison Square Garden. All of my experiences also led to interviewing with Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks and requests for interviews with the Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets and Charlotte Bobcats now the Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets. I would recommend SUNY Oswego to anyone!"

"SUNY Oswega was a wonderful place to go to school. The campus is beautiful and compact in a small town with access to a downtown and shopping areas. The dorms are clean and leave you feeling safe. Dining halls are easy to get to and have plenty of options. The classes are what you make of the, the same as any college, so if you are dedicated the progress will show. There are plenty of sports and clubs to join if you are activities person; the Greek life on campus leaves you with a lot of good options as well. I made the best friends of my life in my freshman dorm, and through the years after that. It was an experience I will never forget or regret."

"Be careful with how much you take out for student loans and what types of loans they are, federal loans are far better. Look into all the assistance you can - theres a lot out there, apply for scholarships and fill out your FAFSA as early as humanely possible. Pay your loans while in school, even if its just small payments to the ever increasing interest that will build while you're in school."
