"The great thing about Syracuse University's Music Industry program at the Setnor School of Music is that it is so comprehensive. As a graduate of this program, I am qualified to pursue jobs in any part of the music industry, from concert promotion, to record production, to artist management."

"Syracuse University is a great school for other majors like communication, business, technology, and engineering . The Psychology program at Syracuse University isn't as strong as one would hope. However, I appreciate the education and the support I received throughout my undergraduate career. If you are looking for a more rigorous psychology program, this might not be the place for you. However, the variety of programs and classes offered to students is great and one that I really appreciated."

"Syracuse University gives you the possibility to take classes in many of its schools and usually admission comes with a decent funding package. I went to VPA (School of Visual and Performing Arts) for an MFA and it was a great experience because I could take classes where I wanted to and use any facility I needed."

"SU is cool. There are a ton of events every weekend. The workload keeps you busy and depending on your major it is easy to get overwhelmed. However, I know a lot of people who've earned 3.8s and above and have graduated with honors. The school is definitely segregated though."

"Syracuse University has great student diversity & an expansive campus, and offers a variety of programs for study with a lot of extra-curricular clubs/organizations to get involved with. Their Architecture program is ever-evolving towards improvement, but was also quite impressive to begin with. They have a rigorous program with an impressive faculty body, which includes visiting professors & professors of practice to ground students in a solid conceptual design foundation and provide insight into the field at the level of practice. The abroad programs were excellent, & the structure of the 5-year program is well-organized. Syracuse has a lot to offer, as long as you can tolerate the long winters of upstate New York."

"I went to Syracuse University for their strong International Studies program and their study abroad program. They are amongst the most established study abroad programs in the US and the process was simple and the learning opportunities for International Studies or Policy Studies students were excellent. I sat in on hearings at the European Court of Human Rights, I met US ambassadors for several european countries and the internship opportunities were invaluable. This is definitely the school to go to if you are interested in international business, non-profit work, human rights advocacy, politics and most importantly making a positive impact in the world."

"Classes were fun and mostly paper based. Not many test which seems fun but there is a lot of homework such as reading. Having many English classes at once means reading a lot of book at once. Stay organized and find about 2-3 hrs to read or become best friends with sparknotes."

"Syracuse University is a great institution that provides lots of resources for it students to succeed. Most TA's and professors are very approachable and welcome students into their office hours. The academics can be challenging, however it pushes students to perform to the best of their abilities. Syracuse University is a place where students can find a healthy balance between their social and academic life, as both are important to achieving overall success."

"The master's program with CRS is great and prepared me for my PhD program. The younger faculty are fully prepared to work with graduate students, but some older tenured faculty are not. However, I think that dynamic is changing."
