"My graduate program is very hands-on and interactive. We are involved in the community and are able to apply our learning directly in the field. Although we are a full-time program, we are able to grasp and put together various course subjects. We are a small class and the faculty is fantastic with communication and meeting with students to supply the best education. The campus is right in Center City Philadelphia which supplies students with social and education opportunities."

"My graduate program is offered on sister campuses around the world. It gives a unique opportunity to grad students who didn't get to travel during their undergrad years. The faculty are amazing and classes can be taken full or part time. I don't really have anything negative to say other than it can be really expensive. I am sure, though, that this is a common "con" of taking formal grad classes."

"Pros: Classes available both in center city Philadelphia as well as on the main campus, students from many educational and professional backgrounds means we can learn from each other as well as the professors. Cons: Student Financial Services department seems understaffed, classes fill up within 15 minutes of registration opening."

"Temple Law is a great quality of education and is much more affordable than other Law Schools of similar quality. The school is located just North of center city Philadelphia, offering a vibrant social and night life for its students, as well as a number of extra-curricular activities to get involved in."

"I love Temple. It has given me the career I have wanted and I know many graduates who have found incredible careers. I wish I could be a college student again because Temple really gave me a memorable experience and catapulted my career in the right direction!"

"If you are interested in pursuing a degree in social psychology, I suggest you look somewhere other than Temple University. There are only 2 full time faculty members of whom only 1 is accepting graduate students. It is unlikely that future psychology hires will be for the social department. In fact there has been talk over the last 5-6 years of having the social area absorbed by the cognitive psychology area."

"Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine is one of the best in its field. We are presented with a great amount of clinical experience, accompanied with the extra competitive academics. Also, the faculty is of really high quality and is always readily available for any questions we may have. The cons I can think of are that the area isn't the best, but it's overpowered by the large transportation availability. Also, the cost of the graduate dorms, for the quality of them, may be a little over priced. In general, I am totally in love with my graduate program, here in Temple University."

"The courses are very interesting and professors are knowledgeable and stimulating. Classes are hard but exciting. Too bad they have so few electives (although you get to take courses outside the department). Overall, I highly recommend the program and would definitely choose it again."

"Temple University is an extremely respected school. Because it is situated in an urban area students are sometimes victims of crime. However, the curriculum is of high quality, the professors are ACCESSIBLE and the use of technology is beyond sub par."

"I love what Temple offered me and I can see how the school has changed since I graduated. They have addressed the lack of housing concern and the school of social work has merged with another school."

"Tell us about your college experience.Honestly, Temple was my "back-up" school. I got into my first and second choice (SCAD and SVA), but they were too expensive. Temple was my back-up due to cost and location; I could commute. I didn't have a great college experience, since everything catered on to on-campus students even though the school is mostly commuters; the school was unclear about nearly everything possible; and the staff were often rude.Would you get the same degree if you could start over?I switched majors a couple of times. If I hadn't, I would have switched to neuroscience, and if I could choose, would major in that from the start. What advice can you offer other students?I'd advise them to save money during high school and then go to a community college to get a degree in something in the health care field, then get a bachelor's degree once they have a steady income. That's what I would have done if I had known better."

"Some pros for this graduate program is that it is very well known and has a large network to get connected to. It has meaningful relationships with a wide variety of organization which helps to acquire internships. A con is that it is expensive and even more so for out of state students such as myself."

"Temple University's MSW program is geared towards allowing professional students, who work full-time in the field. The program allows for a full course-load in addition to keeping a full-time job, even using relevant employment in the field as internship options. The program is very supportive of non-"traditional" students, offering part-time programs with Saturday only classes. The teaching staff is professional and reliable, and the University staff is always there to help. Technology is above and beyond, allowing for a different dimension to the classroom experience."
