"Quality, experienced, accessible, engaging professors. Strong peer support. Very convenient center city location close to public transportation for working adults. The Adult and Organizational Development program was unique and multifaceted."

"After completing one year of the MFA in Playwriting program at Temple University, I can say that I am very pleased with the quality of the program. The faculty are encouraging and accessible, but allow students the freedom and independence to learn and problem-solve on their own. It's a small program, and playwrights also have the opportunity to work with directing, acting and design MFA candidates, as well as students in the undergraduate Theater department."

"The program truly prepares you to be a dentist. There's a lot of clinical experience and overall the school is great."

"Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry isn't easy but it's worth it. If you seek help the faculty will be there. There is a large amount of work but that is expected in dental school. Philadelphia, as a city, isn't safe but I've never had any issues. Just be aware and be smart. In general, I don't think I'd ever want to go through any dental school again but Temple will prepare you for the real world."

"Temple's School of Podiatric Medicine is considered the top podiatry school in the country. Although in the middle of center city, the education I have received here during my first year was incomparable. I know I will have the tools I need to succeed where ever I end up doing my residency, and even beyond. There are definitely more pros than cons for Temple. The academic competitiveness, workload, and value of the program are fantastic, and give me the confidence that I will be successful. The area is not so great, and I do feel that the technology and facilities need to be updated and put to better use."

"The school of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University is a great school with a lot to offer. It is in a great area compared to the other medical locations. There is a lot to do with simple transportation and many places to eat. The facilities are a little outdated but it doesn't have an effect on the education quality at all."

"It is a very competitive program that produces great clinicians. It's very difficult to find any cons to a school that makes you a great doctor."

"Pros: Temple's pharmacy school has long been established and bears a distinguished name. The classes are intense, but not impossible with a lot of commitment of time and energy. For some classes, the material learned overlaps to form a comprehensive view of the subject. Some classes deal with the academic parts of pharmacy while others deal with the practical side of practicing pharmacy. The professors are helpful and want students to learn. Cons: The surrounding area isn't the safest, but if you follow basic common sense (walking around in groups, not wandering off the main streets at night by yourself, being mindful of not displaying your valuables) then there isn't much to worry about."

"The workload was not challenging enough, even for full time graduate students. The tuition was quite reasonable compared to programs in the area in the same field and was the reason I chose Temple."

"Graduate School has always been a dream of mine and Temple University has fulfilled that dream, the wonderful faculty is always willing to help. There is a diverse and friendly student body and healthy academic competition. I do feel that the transport to and from the university can become a bit of a toll and has really been a challenge for me when deciding where to live. Overall Temple is a wonderful University."

"The Temple University Pre Health Post baccalaureate program is a competitive program that offers a great path into medicine. The classes are very difficult- Biology, Physics, Organic Chemistry and General Chemistry and all the labs. One must spend the majority of their free time to study to get grades that will allow for entry into medical school. One should not attempt to work part-time during this program and should be able to focus the majority of their time on studying and volunteering. Campus has great amenities- great Tech Center with computers and study rooms, gym, tutoring center, etc. Location / safety can be a concern on the North Philadelphia Campus."

"The clinically focused curriculum at Temple University is second to none. The only downfall is that the neighborhood (North Philadelphia) is not the safest place to be, especially if you need to stay late to study or work in the clinic."

"Temple's graduate school provides a large network to help students with classes and many of the classes are very small and the teachers know the students very well."

"Main campus is located in a neighborhood that is not safe during weekends and nights. My grad program was rigorous and prepared me to be both a Epidemiologist and Biostatistician. The faculty are really available and I felt that my program is of high value and quality."

"I attended Temple for Undergraduate and Graduate studies. I would not trade my education experiences for anything and the person that Temple helped me to mature into this present day. Temple assisted with financial aid and was full of cultural/social life. I had a lot of training through real life experiences, which are helpful in my career as a social worker. The housing issue was difficult to navigate, which caused me to not live on campus any of my years at the school. Housing is really my only complaint and possibly the wish that education was a little less expensive (but that is everywhere)."

"The pros: Great students and faculty. Professors are willing to go above and beyond to help the students when they need it. Easy transportation onto campus. The cons: While the campus itself is safe, the area right outside campus is extremely dangerous. In terms of the courses themselves, most of the readings focus on theory rather than practical applications (I prefer the latter)."
