The classes are small and most are offered online. The instructors are precise and flexible. All faculty and staff are always in a good mood. It is a great environment to be in, especially while pursuing your degree and career.

Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2015

It is a great school if you want to get away from home. Unfortunately there is not much to do in the area, which could be good because you get time to focus on your work. Overall it is a good school with a lot of supporting faculty. I would pick this school again.

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2014

My graduate program utilizes the latest technology to make classes accessible to students. They have also opened a new campus location that was near my home, to make the hybrid courses easier than ever to get to. They've also begun to offer free courses for those in the field of education, and knowing that teachers don't pick their careers for the money, it's a treat. I have had difficulty with getting my degree plan setup, and it's sometimes difficult to get a hold of someone when it becomes necessary to talk about financial aid, name change, etc. However, the cost is relatively low and the professors are easy to get in touch, extremely knowledgeable and personable.

My graduate program is perfect in relation to my professional goals and current position at UT Arlington. The program length, specific program and introduction to new technologies were the deciding factors for me in enrolling.

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2017

I like that I can take classes online to fit my full time work schedule. The teachers are very friendly and always willing to help. I do wish that online courses were included in the mini sessions, but other than that, I have been completely satisfied with my experience. I learned more in grad school than I did as an undergrad!

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2016

The only con is relates to when I first signed up for this doctoral program. My were that all my classes would be online. This was true during my first two years of the program, with all my classes except one was online. Now, since I have only 5 classes left, it looks like all of these classes will be on campus. It is 1 1/2 hour drive from my house to the school campus. The pros are that TAMUC's instructors are excellent. I like the way the school's online classes are held and most instructors will get in touch with a student with the need arises.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2016

My program is completely online so at times communication with professors is more complicated. At the same time the program keeps students updated on things, including scholarships and career opportunities.
