"I'm an international student from China actually. And I feel lucky to choose this program. The faculty members are so nice and I'm sure this program will boost the competitiveness of future career. Transportation around campus is not bad, we have school bus every day. But if you want to explore other places by yourself, you need a car."

"There are not a lot of cons about this graduate program, but there are a lot of pros. The area is wonderful Austin and San Antonio are not far away if you want a city feel and in town there are many out door actives for a country feel. People are very friendly on and off campus. The one con is that sometimes there is a slight disconnect between graduate college rules and departmental rules that advisers may over look."

"I rated the campus food services as 1 star because its all really processed and unhealthy. The healthiest option is a salad made from iceberg lettuce with some imitation cheese type food sprinkled on it. Bringing your own food to campus is a must. San Marcos is an amazing town with year round access to the river which runs directly through it."

"The department is filled with many caring professors that are always available and willing to help their students. The program is very good and has lots of options. The main focus is to help the students graduate and become successful leaders and in their field."
