The DPT program at TTUHSC is incredible. The staff are so highly trained, but are not intimidating at all to speak to or learn from. They are incredibly helpful whether you need them all the time or just for a few minutes. All professors are very accessible, even if they are at another campus. The education I have received here at TTUHSC has made me a star at my clinical sites. The other students in the program are now my friends and family for life. All lectures are recorded online and can be accessed any time, which is a huge plus for those days where you just can't seem to pay attention 100%. There are so many leadership opportunities at the HSC and around the Lubbock and West Texas areas. The town is great, and the people here are very sincere and appreciative of PTs. I can't thank everyone in this program for what they have given me!!!

The faculty at TTUHSC is exceptional and unparalleled. The quality of education is challenging, yet extremely rewarding. The program is fun, diverse, and interactive. Without the dedication of the faculty, I would not be succeeding in the program to the extent that I have so far.

I have never felt so welcomed on a campus before in my life. Since my interview back in November, I knew this was the school I wanted to go to for physical therapy. It's been a delight to meet the faculty and students here. I moved two states to be here and I feel right at home!

I am a fairly new student in this program and can already see the difference in this school compared to any other that I have been to. I was never the type to have much school spirit and coming to Texas Tech has changed that completely. I love my program and am so proud to be a Texas Tech HSC grad student. My course work is very rigorous but that is to be expected with a doctoral degree. Course work is always related back to its importance in our future clinical work. Our professors are very well educated and involved in their professional field but are also still down to earth and have a sense of humor. They all genuinely care for their students more than I have ever seen in other programs. They are always willing to meet and help in anyway they can. I would recommend Tecas Tech for DPT to anyone.

This program is a fast paced, rigorous, extremely rewarding program. I have never felt as supported by faculty as I do here. They are available to help anytime of the day because they are invested in our education. I highly recommend this program to anyone interested in pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.

Graduation Year: 2016

When accepted into the TTUHSC DPT program, I was merely thankful to have the opportunity to attend a PT school. However, once courses began I realized how fortunate I was to be apart of such a prestigious program. The faculty and staff truly made my schooling experience engaging, rigorous, and rewarding. They would set aside time to answer questions and assess my clinical skills in lab. I am now currently participating in clinical internships. There is not a day that passes, when I am not proud to state I am a TTUHSC student. Practicing clinicians have complimented TexasTech students and graduates. I am prepared and confident with each patient I work with. I would recommend the TTUHSC DPT Program to every student desiring to be an excellent physical therapy clinician.

Pros: Low cost of attendance, recent faculty hires which have greatly increased overall quality of education, strong reputation in orthopedics, excellent anatomy course with cadaver lab Cons: 3 split campuses limits access and communication with distant professors, lectures delivered over live video make learning difficult, little to do in the cities in which the campuses are located, severe weather conditions are common, several classes involve ridiculous busy work,
