"The graduate program in art therapy has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. It's extremely challenging and at time emotionally/ mentally draining, but I've learned so much about the field and about myself as a future art therapist. This program has changed my life for the better."

"George Washington University School of Medicine provides students with a number of unique opportunities enabling medical school students to gain a greater understanding and appreciation for medicine, as well as, the diversity and complexity of medicine. Through a number of community service organizations, this graduate school provides students with an opportunity to explore and aid the DC community. The faculty are focused on providing students with a solid foundation and understanding of both basic science and clinical principles, as well as, hands-on opportunities."

"The school and program over all is wonderful. Living in DC is fantastic and the school itself is phenomenol. The faculaty is so welcoming and wonderful. There is little to complain about when it comes to this school. The programs are so challenging and difficult- yet so incredibly rewarding. I am enjoying the school, faculty, program, and students immensely. There is such an urban setting and so much accessibility to surrounding areas. Restaurants, bars, museums, and so much historical information to absorb. It is really an immensely rewarding experience to go to school in the nation's capital."

"D.C. is a great place to be to network and interact with top academics. However, classes are too large and there could be a better feeling of community on campus. The Foggy Bottom neighborhood is probably to blame for that."

"I feel as if the graduate program at GWU had potential. I personally feel as though they are striving to do something great, and their course offerings are far superior to what I see from other consortium schools. The cons are ineffective communication from program staff, and a general lack of organization. Their vision also doesn't seem to translate to day to day operations"

"The faculty in my program truly care about the student as a whole--not just what you can do academically, but how well you can manage your professional and personal life in conjunction with your academics."

"The Masters of Science in Exercise Science program at George Washington University is very application based which allows its students to gain hands on experience more realistic to their fields of study and career paths post graduation. The opportunities this school can provide in the city environment are limitless. Because it is located in a largely populated city, networking is exceptionally helping provide further opportunities for its students in a broad spectrum of health related jobs."

"Overall, I've enjoyed my time here and the myriad of learning opportunities the school has given me. The only thing that I would change is the financial aid situation, as the cost of tuition is exorbitant and very little aid is given."
