"I studied International Trade and U.S. Foreign Policy at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The quality of training and instruction that I received was excellent and I had an opportunity to meet with many accomplished professionals in my career field. I was able to network with experienced professionals and gain insight into what a career in international trade law looked like. My professors were always willing to help me, even after the semester ended, and were willing to write letters of recommendation for me when I was looking for my first job."

"Administrators are compassionate and do everything they can to help you succeed and feel comfortable within the program. So glad I chose GWU's Graduate School of Education and Human Development 's MA in Organizational Leadership and Learning program."

"The masters in Public Policy at George Washington University is incredible. The professors are incredibly supportive and truly want to see you succeed in everything you do. The majority of professors are also very active in their field as well, therefore, they are teaching from experience not simply book knowledge. The Trachtenberg School's Career Center is also outstanding and has incredible resources and connections to find the best internship or job for you."

"The professors and staff with whom I interacted on a daily basis were, for the most part, fantastic, and I certainly received a great education. However, the "support" services (e.g. financial aid office) were difficult to reach and not always easy to deal with. GWU is also extremely expensive - one of the most expensive schools in the country, in fact. If I were to do things over again, I'd consider some other schools/programs in addition to GWU. I think I would have received just as good an education at less cost, and with fewer headaches along the way. However, GWU's name recognition does help when it comes to job searches. I'm just not sure it has helped me enough to justify the loans I'll be repaying for the next 25 years."

"My program was rigorous but had phenomenal professors. The school was pricey, but I believe the quality education I received was worth the price and set me up for better career opportunities."

"School with great connections, but administratively suffers creating bureaucratic issues and bloated tuition. The professors were well versed in academic as well as real-life scenarios. School provided exceptional flexibility to fit students' school schedules."

"The George Washington University is an excellent choice for undergraduate admissions! With it's location in the heart of DC, the culture is unbeatable. Plus, all students attending for 4 years get to live in DC during a US Presidential Election and Inauguration, which is a priceless experience. Course and academics are incredible and you will have a leg up from other students who do not get the outlet of DC in their fingertips."

"My experience at GW has been great thus far. The coursework and material are engaging, the professors are very knowledgeable and helpful, and the classroom environment is diverse and inspiring. I would not change my decision in attending GW because of the educational opportunities I have received and the support of the staff available."

"George Washington University Law School is a pillar of the community in Foggy Bottom. It has a huge alumni network, gives you a solid education, and has a very energetic atmosphere. Come here if you like to network - don't if you don't. I say that because you won't find a job from this school unless you are in the top 15% or you like to go out there and meet & greet people, take them out for coffee, etc."

"George Washington University's Master of Public Administration program is one of the best in the nation. Not only is it top-ranked, it's optimal location in the heart of DC makes it a resourceful and unique place to learn more about public policy from a hands-on, practical perspective. The program's faculty have relevant policy experience, and are well-connected within the public, private, and non-profit sectors in D.C. I highly recommend George Washington University's Master of Public Administration program to those individuals who are interested in learning more about public policy, the legislative process, and ways to be a change agent in our society."

"GW's breadth of opportunities, while never handed to you, are there for the taking, helped make the GW experience unique and memorable. Between the many clubs, the internship opportunities and the relationships I built, it is undeniable that my experience at GW helped me successfully enter the career stage of my life. Take advantage of as much as you can, while also taking care to not spread yourself too thin."

"My experience at George Washington University was interesting. I enter the school through the merger of GWU and Corcoran School o the arts in Fall 2015. While I enjoyed the classes I have taken with GW, I have had a few issues as far as finding classes and the administration providing classes to fit my major. Even though GW made an attempt to continue the legacy of Corcoran and integrate Corcoran students into the George Washington campus it was in my eyes not successful. I appreciate the GW classes that I have taken I gained a lot of experience and knowledge. The campus is for the most part open and friendly. The only problem I have had is the lack of effort to replace classes for the Corcoran students that were adopted under the merger."

"GWU was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I received a dynamic education, was able to connect with a relatively diverse student body and lived in a city at the center of global governance. If you are interested in a career in public policy, nongovernmental organizations or business, GWU is the place to be, offering a plethora of internship and job opportunities in all of these areas."

"If I was required to pay full tuition I would be much more critical of this university. As I received a substantial scholarship, I am able to objectively look at the pros and cons of the school as a whole. The education was fine, but not outstanding. I did feel that the school tended to nickel and dime the students quite often with minimal support from the staff. A mediocre school with a higher-end name attached to it."

"This is a great program if you are trying to break into the field of international affairs in DC. There are a lot of opportunities to explore different specialties in the field and to gain hands on experience. Many of the professors teach at night and have day jobs in the top organizations in the field. They are willing to make introductions and recommend you for internships."
