"I spent one semester at this school and had the most miserable time of my life. The social scene is non-existent and the involvement of staff on campus is honestly the bare minimum. Their food is abysmal and if one were to check the online reviews they would see that it is often served raw and there have been insects found in the produce. Even worse is they make your life a nightmare when you try to transfer out. I did everything right and holds keep getting put on my transcript despite having cleared them( with documentation and proof) multiple times. I feel helpless and like they are actively trying to ensure that I am unable to get an education elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this university to my worst enemy and am truly disgusted with myself for initially picking it over my other options in the first place."

"Can't recall a single good experience. UTD is all about money. Professors are very uncaring and unapproachable and the faculty will do their best to make sure you will never recommend UTD to anyone as a good university. Teaching standards do not exist, and most professors only read stuff from the power point presentation. Think about it, you pay astronomical tuition fees to have someone read the teaching material from PowerPoint slides!! I guess that's a very expensive reading service!"

"GraduateTexas UT Dallas is a well respected school. It has great graduation and employment rates, and is consistently ranked among the best regionally and nationally. And that reputation is growing with new facilities being added each year. I had a very good experience with faculty and staff and a generally very positive experience overall. I highly recommend UT Dallas to prospective students"

"It is very shameful to know how the marketing team at UTD spread false and inaccurate messages about UTD to intentionally deceive students. First and foremost, the UTD graduation level is 56% as per US News and many other reliable sources. Please don’t get deceived by these positive and inaccurate comments that are made by the marketing department here and other websites. At least I know for a fact that all the negative comments are true and genuine. One must be in love with a university to go to different websites and constantly make false repetitive positive comments. This level of graduation directly reflects the level of care and support professors and staff provide to students. As someone who studied here for almost 3 years, you will be just a number to people who should care and respect you. I have had many terrible experiences being at UTD and here is my genuine and honest recommendation: Just avoid UTD at all costs!!! Because one day most likely you will regret how you spent your money, time, and effort like me. I say this on behalf of myself and many other students how we were left disappointed by the revengeful and uncaring professors and faculty. I highly encourage students, especially intentional students from India, South America and Asia do their research before committing their lives."

"UT Dallas is an amazing school. With a graduation rate over 70% over 6 years, and a high number of students having low student debt and high rates of employment and compensation post graduation, UT Dallas boasts one of best return on investment not only in Texas but across the US. UT Dallas is also developing rapidly. New buildings for Arts, Engineering, Business, Student Engagement, Housing and Esports are currently being developed. I have no doubt UT Dallas will become an exceptional school for many years to come. I encourage everyone to consider applying and attending"

"I think all the positive comments have been written by someone who has ties with the university. I profoundly disagree with most of the positive comments, however, the negative comments seem to be very true. No one chooses a school for "Development"!!! lol. People chose a university for quality education and student support which in my opinion, I'm confident UTD lacks all of them. Nobody chooses a university because of "Development"!! lol"

"Worst school not only for undergrad but even worse for graduates. If you are planning to do research here, the best word of advice is just to forget about it. UTD has one of the worst professors who are only looking to make money out of their students and their research. some are very also mean and disrespectful and the worst thing is when they team up with one another for revenge. I experienced this first-hand and heard many similar stories. UT Austin is extremely better and have been able to get a position down here. I can tell everything is so much different. Professors and staff here are very polite and respectful and they only care about science and your overall success. I honestly feel so bad wasting so much time at UTD."

"UTD has a graduation rate of 56%, which fully reflects the level of care and support the staff and faculty provide for students! UTD is claimed to be very diverse, but if you take a close look at everyone in the president's office, you will not see a single person who represents the majority of international students. I personally dealt with Dean of student office and the Vice President of student affairs, and I had the worst experience beyond words. They were very uncaring and disrespectful and if you are an international student, they make sure that you will regret your life. At least this is my genuine and honest experience. I highly encourage students, especially intentional students from India and Asia do their research before committing their lives."

"I believe UTD is very expensive and the education is way below average considering the fees. I also did have some very unpleasant experiences dealing with professors and faculty. I highly recommend future students to look for better universities and avoid UTD as best as you can!"

"UT Dallas is a great school. It is one of the best regionally and, increasingly, nationally. With caring staff and modern facilities (research operations with UT Southwestern and the City of Richardson, Arts complex) being built each semester, it is definitely an excellent choice for prospective students. I highly recommend it."

"I don't recommend UTD to anyone. It is very expensive and the education quality is very poor. There are much better universities with the same tuition fees. My best advice is to just avoid UTD! Housing is also very expensive and unfortunately, I can't recall any good interactions with either faculty or staff. But unfortunately, this was my experience."

"The University of Texas at Dallas has recently removed the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. I believe UTD was already one of the worst universities, but now It is off the chart in terms of awfulness! In my opinion, it has one of the worst and uncaring professors and staff. UT Austin is a very good school by the way. I do NOT recommend UTD at all. But UT Austin is a good university."

"This is for future and current students. Never pay anything in advance to UTD. Be it housing or tuition fees. This is because I want you to avoid going through the same experience as me and many other students. UTD has one of the worst and uncaring professors in my opinion. With unapproachable staff who have no respect or sympathy towards students. Of course, this is my opinions and many other that I have known. You may take it or leave it."

"I studied at UTD for almost 3 years. Don't even know where to begin!! In my opinion, UTD is one of the worst schools in the US. Housing and education are extremely expensive and put UTD amongst one of the top universities in terms of only fees and housing but the quality of education and housing is way below average. My best recommendation is to AVOID as much as you can. UTD police is also very uncaring and disrespectful towards students."

"In my opinion, UTD is the WORST school in the U.S. for both graduate and undergraduate students. Super expensive tuition fees and housing. And don't even get me started on the quality of education. If you want to see lots of people reading stuff from the slides without actually teaching anything, then this place is for you! I would not recommend this university at all. Extremely rude staff and professors who lack sympathy!"

"UT Dallas is a great school and is getting better and better each year. It has a solid reputation, with rigor and highly ranked programs, particularly Business and STEM. It is also developing at a rapid pace, with a major arts complex, DART rail, dorms and a mixed use community planned. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it"

"The university's educational standards and instructional quality have fallen below expectations, leading to a disheartening experience for students. Furthermore, the presence of exceptionally impolite faculty and professors within the institution is concerning. I would strongly recommend avoiding this university if possible."
