"Pros: Great campus, amazing diversity, cool events and give away's, awesome library, on campus food and drink facilities. We have some interesting student organizations that put a lot of effort to ensure students have a great time doing extra curricular activities. We get some amazing student support from the career management center as well. I also like the Leadership Certificate offered by one of the Student organizations, it helped increase my awareness of self.We have well respected and qualified faculty members who are very approachable and make learning interesting. Last but not the least, UTD has an awesome campus which is well maintained and watched by the university police. I like that care about the environment and do their bit in every way to protect it. Infrastructure wise too, UTD rocks! I enjoy being on campus and moving among different buildings; each of which has an appeal and charm of its own. Cons: I feel studying at UTD can be a costly affair for international students. Thankfully there is scholarship opportunities however it covers only an year. For transport, UTD has its comet cruiser but it does not always match with the dart bus timings; so If you don't stay on the comet cruiser route it does not make a lot of sense to have a UTD bus since you end up wasting an hour for crossing a couple of miles. If you are an international student it may take you one test to figure out how to translate the wonderful classroom learning's into A grade that you desire. The way of teaching is great but the way of testing is different here and you are taken aback sometimes since they don't always given you same difficulty questions int he classroom."

"Im a graduate finance student at UTD. The teacher give clear class presentation. In all of my class so far, the teacher will give the lecture notes to you, the notes are very helpful and you just need to add some additional points as the professors are explaining. There is a lot of homework and outside class studying that you need to do. Overall the faculties are excellent. The cons is some of the department lacks of customer service skills when you ask them questions (not the faculty). Also, there are a lot of students from China, I wish I can meet more students from other countries."

"pros, 1.As cohort MBA, you can enjoy much more advantages than other masters concerning education and career support. 2. As it is stated on the official website, it is a small program(67 of Cohort 2015) with big benefit. We are more closely connected with second year students,alumni and faculty. 3. Dallas's strong economy. Most all of international students can find a job if they wish, not to mention local students. 4. All the courses are quite practical, prepare us for future work. 5. not expensive living here. 6. most students can receive some scholarship,although rarely anyone can get full scholarship. 7. you only need to finish minimum 10 credits to get a dual degree in school of management. Cons, 1. heavy course load, have to finish 53 credits in 16 months. 2. most graduates will work in texas, very little reputation outside Texas."

"Pros are an upcoming business school and the job opportunities in the supply chain sector which again is a rising field. The cons would perhaps be a lack of active program marketing in the developing countries to attract top tier talent which is needed for long term success of a school."

"Since I came to the campus, I have felt at "home". This feeling, coupled with the enthusiasm of the students and staff, invigorates my learning. I am networking and meeting dynamic individuals who have my best interest to achieve at heart. The projects and group projects are challenging. The best part of my program is the staff offers real world experience to support the concepts taught in the classroom!"

"I joined UT Dallas because I was already living in Dallas but I should say I have not regretted my choice even a bit. The school has a stellar academic reputation. Faculty is top notch and the courses offered are very relevant to the industry. The work done by Career Management Center is noteworthy. All their sessions are very informative that all we need to do is attend them. Dallas being the new job hub, school has location-advantage as well. There are only two cons I can think of. One is that school should increase the number of Financial aids considering the increased intake for graduate courses. Second one is that UT Dallas is not a party college like UT Austin or A&M which can be a let down for "party animals"."

"I think my program is great in terms of real world learning. I get to know not just what is written in books but how it is applied, what is the problem real world is facing. It gives me a chance to think that a degree could do way more than just getting you a job. It empowers you with the knowledge you need to excel. Thanks to UTD."

"The accessibility to the Professors is relatively high and the industry exposure of the faculty is excellent, Program directors has relevant Industry experrience and can easily accomodate new courses in according to the market demand."

"I think the biggest advantages of this university is it's superb faculty and the close relation with the industry. It much easier to find an internship and full time offer thanks to the Career Center. I think the two problems or disadvantages is that the on campus accommodation should be increased and also the campus is kind of small compared to the other big universities."

"The graduate programs are very good. The thing that impresses me is the flexibility with the subjects that we need to take. The professors are very welcoming. The thing that i had a issue with is sometimes it gets difficult to get the subjects that we wish to take. Its a kind of lucky draw. Other than this minor thing i am very satisfied."
