"The university of west Florida provides a great value to those who are looking to get a career. Most classes are small compared to a lot of schools and taught by actual teachers with doctorates who are willing to help. The campus is beautiful as well with new buildings and building improvements sprouting up all of the time. The sprawling campus offers outdoor trails, canoeing, and a 25 minute proximity to beaches for those who need nature in their lives. There is a large gym with an indoor track for those who need exercise. All of these items make me extremely satisfied with my collegiate experience at UWF."

"I absolutely loved this program and would highly recommend University of West Florida for a Master's Degree! The course work was meaningful and prepared me for state certification exams. My academic advisor, professors, and all other staff were caring, timely, and helpful. I was able to accelerate the program to graduate early, but received thoughtful advisement and encouragement from my advisor. The materials and books that I purchased as a part of my studies were very relevant, good investments. I opted for the 100% online program, which very closely mirrors other public state University Ed Leadership programs, but at a fraction of the price! Even though my classes were exclusively online, the class platform, use of emails, discussion boards, and live collaborative sessions kept me engaged."

"University of West Florida was an amazing part of my educational experience. The small class size and personal interaction of the faculty made me feel like I was a part of a family. The students that I met during my time at UWF are still a part of my life now. We are able to connect and talk about problems and get help from one another. I am even still in contact with many of my professors. What a concept! Additionally, the school was so very helpful in all areas and facilities. Be it financial aid or even the cafeteria staff, everyone has been so helpful and pleasant. I speak to other students who dread going to the registrar's office or financial aid because of the long lines or rude service, however, at UWF I have had nothing but positive experiences. It has been such a joy to be able to call this my alma mater. I would defiantly encourage anyone to consider University of West Florida the place to grow academically."

"UWF is a nice, quiet, small school. Unfortunately, while I was going there it seemed to be going through an identity crisis and couldn't decide what kind of school it wanted to be. It used to emphasize the humanities, archeology and oceanography. It's focusing more on business degrees and its sports programs these days. I would only recommend UWF is you just really want to live in Pensacola or if you are majoring in marine biology or something else to do with the ocean."

"It is a great school to go to if you wish to attend a college with the price tag of a public school and the class size of a private school. There is a real sense of community between the students and faculty. While there I was able to develop great relationships with not only my classmates, but also many of my professors. The campus is a beautiful place to live and attend classes with a nature preserve and many trails to enjoy. There are several activities on campus to increase the quality of student life in a wide range of categories. Everything from movie nights to outdoor adventure trips. Overall I enjoyed my experience at UWF and would recommend it to everybody."

"Outside of learning about the curriculum of Legal Administration, I discovered what type of learner I was at the University of West Florida. I came to the school as a sophmore from a local community college. What I learned from the community college, UWF added to, which empowered me to later attend graduate school twice. I am a life long learner; I love to learn and give credit to my early college experiences. I had an overall amazing experience at this wonderful university and graduating from UWF empowered me beyond what I can express verbally."

"UWF is a great small college. The science department focuses on local environmental issues. The cost is relatively low. Most of the science staff and friendly and excellent teachers."

"I throughly enjoyed my time at the University of West Florida. The classroom settings are small and initimate and you get to know your peers as well as your instructors very well throughout your time there. There has been some change in administrations since I attended and I did end up having my final field eval be purged before it was suppose to, and they did not have a digital copy saved. But I believe they have gone to electronic copies for paperwork now, but be aware of that for any college you plan to attend."

"UWF is a decent school. It's near Pensacola Beach, so it's fun to attend. They've really started focusing on business/science/medicine degree programs as well as on their sports program in the past few years, so it's not the best school for humanities majors."

"It was exciting, eye-opening, mind-expanding, highly pressurized, frustrating, exhausting. The courses offered in the history department were quite limited - if you wanted to take a course that covered an area outside Europe or the United States, you had to go to the Anthropology department. Rising tuition and book prices, desperately insufficient parking, aging buildings/equipment and, again, that limited course catalog, all while the university was pouring huge amounts of money into starting a football program and developing land to rent to outside vendors like Starbucks (both of which plans were delayed for years), made me feel like they saw the school more as a money-making scheme than a place of education. Still, I had some great professors that made me look forward to going to class, and that's extremely valuable."

"First off, I received my undergraduate degree from here as well, so I really enjoy the school and the area. The courses were very manageable, I have mainly been part-time. There is a lack of funding for stipends beyond being a teacher's assistant, although my understanding is that they are attempting to fix this issue."

"The largest pro of my graduate program is the ability to work as a graduate assistant and gain "real world" experience. Administration go above and beyond to make sure our cohort is prepared to job search. The con of my graduate program is the lack of diversity with adjunct faculty and in my cohort."

"UWF was the perfect school environment for me! The classes were small and the instructors were always there to help. I worked full-time and having excellent instructors helped so much! I am planning to earn my master's degree very soon from this college."
