"I enjoyed my experience although I would have strongly preferred more diversity among faculty. What positively stands out is how much TU relies on student feedback. In an online discussion forum hosted by a professor no subject was off-limits. One student typed about a different professor who she felt was making things overly difficult and acting as if his/her class was the only one students were taking. I was surprised she brought up a colleague of our professor's in the forum and wondered if this was the right time and place, and since the second part of her complaint was something I'd often heard by peers in all levels of my schooling, I paid it little attention. It seemed other students in the forum did the same with responses like 3 credit courses require a lot of reading, etc. Our professor typed a couple of sentences into the forum in mild defense about the rigor of graduate level study, she ranted a bit more, and the discussion moved on to other topics. Later as I completed a student survey for my courses as we were expected to each semester, I decided to talk to my advisor about the importance of completing them. As we spoke over the phone, she responded with an example of a professor who would not be returning the following semester because of several complaints and student survey feedback. Of course, I thought back to the discussion forum and was so glad this student made me feel awkward by bringing up her issue. In an online environment, you have very little opportunity to find out about others' experiences. Had she not brought it up, I would have had no idea. [Regarding the question about Career Services, I did not request any support.]"

"Keep looking. This university does not take their students seriously. Be prepared to be singled out and bullied. Some instructors care and want their students to succeed, while others prefer to be difficult and judgmental. Sarcasm does not belong in the classroom. You deserve better. Good luck."

"Education professionals are invested in students performance. Smaller classroom size allowed more interaction. Growing campus and program curriculum. Enhancements to college experience, strong relationship with alumni. Involved in current events of majors."

"Tiffin University is a smaller campus that promotes student awareness and curriculum based practices. The staff really gets to know their students and it is enjoyable to go to a class where the teacher truly wants to be there. The instructors make sure to bring real life experiences to the classroom and ask the students to build on those experiences and relate situations or opportunities to them. The campus is a very safe campus with campus security as well as the student night watch constantly patrolling the campus. Also, there are many opportunities for students to earn credit for their tuition by working on campus. Another positive side of Tiffin is that they have a growing sports program and they are able to compete in the NCAA Division 2. As a student I enjoyed both my seated classes and my online classes I took. There is a great diversity of students in the school and it gives you an opportunity to meet people from all around the world. Tiffin University offered a big school atmosphere with a small school relationship. I remember walking down the street and thinking there is always somebody I know out and about, but I don't know everybody I see. For me this was comforting because I was able to make a lot of friends and see familiar faces when I went out, but I didn't feel like I was in high school and I knew everyone. If I could give Tiffin a rating out of ten, I would given them a ten because of their affordability, education, and atmosphere."

"I attended Tiffin University after enrolling in its online Fast Track Degree Completion program from 2006 to 2008. I transitioned from in-class studies after completing my first course to distance learning because of the convenience of studying at home, eliminating the necessity to commute in Cleveland's inclement winter weather, along with the need to deal with my late night work hours. I highly recommend this university to those considering online, in-class, or hybrid studies. I attended this university using financial aid in the form of Stafford loans and aid from Cleveland Scholarship Program. Dr. Earl W. Campbell, DBA"
