Troy University's Accounting program prepared me for my internship I had greatly. I was able to analytically think about various problems I faced, along with prepared me to properly communicate with those in the field of Accountancy. The professors I had encouraged me and became mentors.

Degree: Counseling Psychology
Graduation Year: 2008

Troy University Augusta prepared me for my career and community. Classes were flexible and professors were accessible. My classes were held at night, so it was easy to drive over after work and spend my evening with other students like me. We became a family and have networked with one another for an extended period of time. I recommend Troy University to to anyone who is looking to achieve more and be more.

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2017

Online courses are very flexible and teachers are extremely knowledgeable. However, one major downside I experienced was with financial aid and the bookstore. I applied for a scholarship after I started my first term. I did this because I was directed by my advisor and student coach. However, after I applied I was told I was ineligible because it was after I started my first term. I put in a complaint and they apologized for the error but informed me there was nothing they could be done. I put in a formal complaint and was told word for word. " I apologize for the misinformation you received but we followed protocol. Another issue I have is the bookstore. They called me to inform me they had no used books. I agreed to rent new books, and they said they would send it right away. I waited and waited and eventually ended up calling them. They said that they accidently put it in for pick up. I live in Chicago and am an online student. As a result, I didn't get my books until my class already started. I ended up ordering them on Amazon which is always cheaper. The only reason I ordered with Troy's bookstore in the first place was because Amazon couldn't get me one of the books for two weeks. Just Wow

Degree: MBA in Management
Graduation Year: 2013

Troy University's MBA program provides the needed flexibility for career professionals interested in furthering their education while advancing their respective careers. With campuses worldwide, I did not have to place my career on hold while pursuing an MBA in management. Additionally, the online option was open to me when I moved to cities with no Troy campus presence. Of course, the tuition was affordable, and Troy University is a well-respected program in the Southeast United States so securing interviews was no issue with the Troy name on my resume. I would encourage anyone looking for an affordable and flexible MBA program to consider Troy University. It will pay career and financial dividends! Go Trojans!

Degree: Non-Profit Management
Graduation Year: 2015

At first, I was wary of attending an online graduate program, but the experience and education was exceptional at Troy. The instructors are experts in their fields and are always approachable. The program is fast paced, but the online format makes it flexible enough to work or take care of family obligations. Assignments are varied in format, thought provoking, and offer ample opportunity to interact with classmates. I feel that all the course material was exceptionally relevant to my field and advanced my understanding of the nonprofit arena. The final capstone course was a great summary of all the material covered in the program, and the final exam was challenging but excellent practice in analyzing and creating public policy. I highly recommend Troy University, and especially the online program for students who are military or just need extra flexibility.

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Adult)
Graduation Year: 2019

I am new student with Troy University. This is my first semester in their MSN program. My advisor has been extremely helpful with an educational plan. The classes are challenging but flexible to my life and work schedule. The instructors have been more involved than one would think for being an online program. For instance, I had a question about an assignment for which I emailed the instructor. Within minutes, she called me on my cell phone to make sure I understood the instructions and helped walk me through any technical issues. Troy offers a flexible education for students that must be mobile and 4 campus sites across the state. Each contact I've had with instructors, financial aid, campus bookstore, etc. has been positive. This institution wants to help students succeed.

The staff and lecturers at Troy University made it possible for me to achieve my dream of achieving my masters' degree in business. As a result, I have bee able to use the skills and knowledge gained while studying at Troy University in my current position as Deputy Executive Director for a top-rated nonprofit organization. The professors were demanding yet fair, and the curriculum was relevant to the real world.
