"Academically challenging and respected by the potential employers. Not enough hands on practical experience provided. Little to no help with future employment: no job fair, no career councilor, no career center. Job offers are emailed to us as they come in, but not stored anywhere for future reference. Employers report it is difficult to find the right person to contact with employment opportunities. Tufts pushes new grads towards internships, which was not economically viable for me, because I do not want to specialize."

"The pros about the graduate program at Tufts University is that as a student, you are receiving a top level education for an affordable price!"

"An excellent program that contains aspects of animal law, policy making, and public policy. This program is pretty small (about 12 students in the class) so you're with the same people everyday. But, if it's a good group, it's really fun and enjoyable! Also, there's no thesis, just a final project, and it's a one year, accelerated program!"

"Very unique, multi-disciplinary food science and policy program! It's like nothing else I found in my graduate school search. The faculty are very dynamic and well-connected to both the academic and non-academic worlds. The school's location in Boston serves as a great hub for various nutrition-related interests. The only real downside is the cost, but that would be true of any graduate school of a similar caliber."

"Great school for those who have exhausted all options. A large class size makes it very inviting to get in on your 2nd or 3rd attempts. Not cheap."

"Pros: Faculty were highly accessible and supportive, the university offered many programs in career support and development, the graduate program was a good value overall. Cons: The area is expensive to live and healthcare options were limited to high cost/low quality insurance options."

"Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is locates in the heart of Boston. The city is a very cultural and diverse place to be. It is also very expensive, which makes the cost of living incredibly high. Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is very technologically advanced and the private-school allows students to easily communicate with faculty. The student body acts as a team to allow each individual to succeed."

"This is a great program built around a great community of faculty, staff, and students. Classes are great, professors accessible, and studying in the Boston area has multiple benefits including the opportunity to cross-register at other institutions and benefit from their programs and events."

"I think that the diversity of the student body could be improved at Tufts. Otherwise the quality of education, the faculty, and the resources available to students are great."

"The school prides itself for offering the latest technology. While that is true, it is not often distributed equally. For example, the new clinic floor is only offered to 1/3 of the student body while everyone still pays the same price."

"The professors and staff are excellent and make sure to support students at every step. graduate students are tested like future colleagues and expected to enrich the classroom experience with their personal stories and areas of expertise. At the same time, you pay for the great environment and the Tufts name- this graduate program is expensive and I located in an expensive city. The nutrition field as a whole is facing the challenge increasing diversity and the student body in the nutrition program is a reflection of that need."
