"Focus on field placements is very strong which is great, there are also a lot of options for field placements and students have a lot of input in the placement process. Teachers are accessible and helpful, teaching very meaningful coursework and providing additional support when needed."

"When I was looking at colleges I just wanted to get away from home and only applied to schools outside of my home state. I have so much debt and Tulane was of no help in finding me a job. I went to the career center several times and all they gave me was a personality test. New Orleans is an amazing city but not worth the price tag."

"The academic staff have an open door policy and contact assistance available on their working hours. Great place to pursue a phd program. Studying Tropical Medicine and public health is grand, since it is the only school in the United States that provides such an educational opportunity."

"The college is filled with professors that are very well informed and willing to help students that are seeking help. The classes are well developed and the school works hard to make life as comfortable as possible. It is a relaxed environment that is easy to join into. The class work may be challenging for some but there are many resources for students in need of help."

"Tulane University Law School definitely provides an academically rewarding and enjoyable law school experience. The professors are brilliant people who are accomplished in their fields, yet they are incredibly accessible and willing to offer assistance. The legal field is competitive, but Tulane encourages a community environment among its students, faculty, and professors that truly enriches the teaching of important legal skills. The campus sits on St. Charles Avenue in historic uptown New Orleans, giving Tulane students the opportunity to fully experience one of the most culturally rich cities in the world. The tuition is high, but Tulane is well worth the investment."

"I love Tulane University in every way! My school has plenty to offer, challenging coursework, diverse environment and ample opportunity for academic career growth. Although, Tulane University is a great program, New Orleans has a high crime rate. However, the community has continual efforts to make students, community members and visitors to feel safe. New Orleans in general is a work in progress and I love being a part of it."

"Tulane is in the heart of the intercity of New Orleans. This is a huge advantage to witnessing first hand the social issues that must be resolved. Not only that but you can witness some programs that are in place, that are not functioning properly. Another advantage is having professors who are well versed in my concentration of disaster mental health. To be able to learn from knowledgeable professors has made my education a lot stronger compared to others. A con I would say, would be the location. At times it feels unsafe when there are a multitude of people in front of the school who stir up trouble."

"Tulane's graduate program needs work in technology and social life, but in terms of finding their graduates careers and a network, they do a great job."

"Pros: interesting material, invested faculty, knowledgeable/experienced faculty (teach the material on which they base their careers), supportive and available, affordable living, great city Cons: first/second semester workload imbalance, could provide more workshops/seminars about future career goals that aren't necessarily medical school"

"Amazing school. The classes are amazing, and I've loved all of my professors. I feel as if I will be well prepared for life after grad school. I do wish they gave financial aid though - master's students do not receive any funding!"
