"They have taken really good care of us, making sure we get the instruction and aid we need. Sometimes, the professors seem to be teaching to those who already know the material rather than those who are just being introduced to it. Overall, the teaching, though, is very good."

"Uci is a good place for master and bachelor but it is not as well as some other universities in PHD program. In our group it seems that there is not enough enthusiasm for research."

"Actually the planning program is great, profs are easy to reach to, their office doors are always open for you. Most students comes from US, very few international students, most of them are from India or China. Also, the class atmosphere need to be more active, there are not so many lively discussions during the class."

"I enjoyed living in Irvine and the professors and students are very nice and intelligent. Class sizes are pretty large even in the graduate program and I wish advisors would potentially contact students to clarify the student's progress."

"Pretty awesome research school but party scene is almost absent in sprite of having such amazing surroundings. U can make up with the awesome weather and so many places to go and have fun though."

"There are many pros and a few cons to the MAE graduate program at UCI. One of the major pros is that all incoming MS/PhD students are fully funded for their first year by the university. Also, all incoming MS/PhD students are guaranteed on-campus housing, which is very nice and relatively inexpensive compared to off campus housing in the areas. The only con I can think of is that it is a growing department so they have a "few" bugs to sort out, but this department is about to rocket up in the rankings in the next few years."

"The Paul Merage School of Business is one of the most renowned in the country, and consistently comes up at the top of state and federal rankings. The community around the school is one of the safest (if not the safest) in the country. Surrounded by Orange County's top companies, the networking opportunities afforded by the program shine above similar options. As a con, the cost is pretty big, reducing the overall value in spite of the quality of the education. Technology use could be better, by making all class material available digitally."

"The program has the motto of "Innovate, Collaborate, Grow". They full time program does an excellent job of embodying these values. The network is great, and highly receptive when it comes to helping a fellow student/alum. The career center is excellent, and highly involved with the students. Classmates are of a high caliber, and incredibly tight knit. This is an outstanding program, which is constantly improving."

"The graduate program so far has been wonderful, yet challenging. The professors are there to help you as long as you put the time in. I have found that the teachers are willing to go out of their way for hard workers. The classes are very challenging."
