My graduate advisor is an incredible resource and she has been invaluable to my education. Additionally, the technological resources available at UCLA are phenomenal and meet nearly all of my needs. However, there are a large number of students so it is very difficult to find funding for my research project and educational expenses. Additionally, the surrounding area is incredibly expensive and I have been having difficulty making ends meet with extra necessary costs such as parking.

Pros - It's a 1-2 year graduate program that allows you to choose either from a thesis option or class only option. If the thesis option is chosen, the program will most likely take longer than 1 year, but it is an excellent opportunity to get research experience. Also, if you want to continue onto a Ph.D. after your Masters, it is relatively easy to continue.
